PNP - PR - April-May-June 2015 Applicants!

I have sent my Post Nomination Paper based Application packet to CIC Sydney NS and it has delivered there yesterday. I knew this through DHL courier tracking system. How can I know about my application proper receiving? When will I get the received confirmation about my application from CIC?

We are here for whom already submit their application in April, May and June, 2015 ONLY. Thanks.

Hello everyone, I am june 25th 2015 applicant. I have been trying to link my application through my cic since a month now. It shows same message that no application found. I called cic 3 times and they gave me standard answers- they cannot tell me status of my application until 15 months are over. My ECAS has not been updated since march 2016. I reported to technical difficulties.
Today one cic agent told me that linking paper application under PNP program is officially not listed in the list of applications which can be linked. so I have to wait until any cic agent contacts me back. I am worried now because most of applicants have received ppr on or before the date of application received by cic. Its 23rd june and i dont have any news for ppr..What should I do now?

I don't have a problem with them taking holidays.

My problem is that after July 1st, Canada post might start a strike so there won't be any mail deliver.

If we have to send passports and pictures using Canada post..... I just hope cic moves and reacts fast to that if it happens and makes an exception letting us use UPS or other mailing companies.

You will get your application number within 1.5 - 3 months ...

First of all, It is not necessary for you to link mycic anyway, You will get your ppr once they send it to you by email. My cic does not tell you a different detail and does not help you get your request early. You can only wait until cic send you email or oder an note which tells you more. I am still waitting for mine and so is some ppl from June 10th 2015. CiC said 15 months is the time limit then the worst thing is we still have to wait for another 3 months.

I just want to know if my background is in progress or not. that's why I am trying to link my application. CIC agent told me that as far my file is going well.... But It's hard to wait more than 12 months... I am on closed work permit and want to leave my job asap... :-[ :-[ :-[

Last strike (June 16,2011) that cic accepted other courier. My suggestion is that put one canada post envelope and an ups envelope as well with your address label and your photos and send them all to cic. Won't hurt to give cic another choice.

It's a good idea. But that works if the strike starts after I have sent my documents. Seeing how slow they are going it's very likely there won't be Canada post available by the time I get my PPR email.

My point is even you linked my cic it does not tell you that you will be getting ppr for sure. Yes, some lucky ones get their ppr after one day the backgroud change into in progress. Some ppl did not change and still get their ppr and some with backgroud change for 1 month and still did not get anything... The best idea is order a note which take 1 month for you to get it or keep calling cic and you might ended up for a answer.

If the strike starts even before you get your ppr email then no point at all to use canada post and waste money. Use UPS only and they do have same day delivery service which is way better than canada post anyway.

I believe, CIO will give us the instruction which alternative post company we should use if Canada post goes for strike.
In the beginning of this year I followed TRV forum, because I applied for that, and one person posted that he sent UPS return envelope, even though CIC instructed him to sent Canada post express return envelope, so CIC did not use his UPS return envelope, but sent his TRV visa through regular Canada post. At the end that guy had been waiting for 2 weeks to receive his visa. CIC is very strict, I think we should not worry but wait for their instruction.

June 11 applicant still waiting for PPR.

Filed on June 18th, Status in progress at least since last week Thursday when I linked my application. Maybe it was in progress before that but who knows how long...

MER might sent out by different dept. I won't be too surprises if our officers are taking the 2 weeks off as I know the senate of Canada just start their 3 months summer break...As long as I can still get my ppr by the end of July that I do not mind it is slow. It is being so slow and with absolut no news for a while since last year...

How do you know that? Where did you read?

It'b be a torture stay in my current job another 3 months...
