I got requested PCC with email stating:
" Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate Please submit an original police certificate from the United Kingdom. PHOTOCOPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED."
I ended up sending PCC from UK only (I originally submitted all of them, but it sounded they wanted the UK one, as it expired over the year of processing my app.) I believed it was discussed before - has anyone got the experience, if it is enough, sending just the one they requested specifically or did I fail by not sending all of them again?
Thanks!
Hello,
I had the same question, but no clear answer... i also lived in 2 countries, submitted both pcc with original application, but when i got additional information request they highlighted my home country only. I called CIC but agent she was confused herself
she was not sure what to suggest so advised me to send both (just in case)
but in my personal opinion it is enough to send just the one they ask, otherwise both would be highlighted, right? :
I think first sentence is just from general rules and second is specified what exactly they need
try to call them as well, maybe another agent will give better advise
