yes when I applied work permit i also show she is my wife i also gave her passport and our marriage certificate copy

when i applied nomination i put her name and provide birth certificate marriage certificate passport copy

when i applied PR i also submit her PCC and provide birth certificate marriage certificate passport copy

my understanding is that PS is some sort of department that determines what to do next when an officer isn't sure what to do or when there's a protocol in place.

my case was referred to PS as well then it was transferred from Sydney to Ottawa and labeled as a complex case.
is your wife in Canada?

Same here bro, when my file was transferred from sydney to Ottawa, it was labelled that complex case - referred to visa office for further processing

It says referred to PA for review

That's it

It also says no adverse information

My wife has 3 previous refusals too. My file is in ottawa since 26 may, and there is no any request for additional documents yet.

As same as hamid, I got married 3 years before. And there is always my wife's name is added in every applications i did Wheather it was Work permit, PNp or PR.

Bro, your case is not Complex. So be relax. You will get your PPR in next 2 weeks for sure.

it has been labeled as such yet but PS will label it as such. Being a complex case doesn't mean it will be declined it just requires further reviewing to make sure you are eligible. because your spouse has visa(s) rejected, they need to make sure your spouse isn't trying to get to Canada by marrying someone. They also need to check their refusals to see if they affect her admissibility.

There's nothing to do other than waiting. Keep us posted and good luck.

No idea. My file was received by Sydney on March 18 2014 then transferred to Ottawa in August 2014. Last documents they requested was last month, the remedicals for my wife and before that was proof of marriage in December 2014. I don't even have IP :/
I passed the 16 month mark, emailed Ottawa, they said to wait some more. They didn't say how much longer.
