Hi, I am new to this forum and I would like to ask on your expert advice with regards to how long normally its takes the processing time for permanadent residence application under provincial nominee program.

CIC received our application last Nov 2014
CEM requested to undergo for medical exam last June 2015, medical examination have been completed on the same month.
CEM requested to pay the RPRF last June 2015, paid RPRF on the same month.
CEM requested to submit Police clearance last June 2015, certificate submitted on the same month.

Takes a maximum of 16-17 months.
Most cases are cleared between 11-14 months from date of receipt.
Given that you already paid RPRF and medical exams completed, you are within the last 3-4 months of your processing. Could be sooner but also could take longer. No one has a crystal ball here.

My work permit is expired on 12th july 2015. My pr application still in process from April 2,2015. I applied for work permit june 2, 2015.

My question is, what is flag polling? Is it a any shortcut way to extent my work permit.

I am june 16,2014 applicant. Anyone on same boat.

I am worried about my status what i will do next?

normally it takes around 45-60 days to get ur workpermit extended.if your visa has valitidy then you can go and do falgpole at boarder .if your out of visa aswell then i wudnt suggest you to go for flagpole.flagpole basically is resuming ur status of ur document.why dont u wait for couple of more days your workpermit should be on the way.

My wp will expire on july 20. Also waiting. Unfortunately now processing time is 98 days for online application.....i would NOT do flagpole with expired wp. Its risky.

a quick reminder for everyone sending their 2 photos... one photo should have photographer's info.. dated..
also you need to include your name and date of birth on the same photo...

one photo should be left blank...


i send twice the photo because i have a mistake of not including my name and date of birth..
in their email, and in the link, provided... it does not say, you need to put your name and date of birth...


just for info... read it also in cic home page to make it sure....

you are still on implied status... you do not need to go to the border as you can still work...
just give it time... i am in process for almost 4 mos before ppr...

Did they ask you to send pictures again. I sent mine without my name and DOB as the document in mail didnt mention it while cic homepage mentions it as you pointed out.

document in mail or in email? Do they mail anything? I thought they only email for PPR.

Now i realized that i did that mistake too...i didnt write my name and dob on the back side of the photo....is it delay the visa process?

Not technically a mistake. As the link they pasted in PPR email doesnt ask for putting name and DOB. Will be interesting to know if Chicky43 was requested to send photos again or if he did it on his own.

as per the photo specification it doesnt say name and dob on the back of the photo and it doesnt say either on ppr email. i send my photos just with the stamp ..anyway my return tracker has been activated today we will see if i wil get visa stamped or not . :
