Any July applicant who has got DM or PPR?

I am July applicant who turned to IP since May 1st and nothing happened since then. So frustrating and jealous as I see some August and October applicants got PPR. >:( :(

congrats... i m jealous nd happy for u
Thanks Shareview.
I think they are processing in date of receipt of application. By that logic you should get PPR within 2 weeks.
Good luck.

1=> nothing to worry about it. ECAS is always slow in updating.
2=> After you have your passport pasted with immigration visa (or CoPR if you are from exempt country), you will see expiry date in that visa (or the CoPR) and you have to do landing process before that day.

Thanks for clarification!

Hello, in the PPR email, it says "Quote your application number on your correspondence". Is the correspondence referring to the email itself which I need to enclose in with the passport, or I need to submit an additional letter which includes the application #, name, DOB, address. and phone?

GUYS

Im a PNP candidate, I have to add a newborn baby to my application.
They say I have to pay the processing fee for baby.
What are the steps of paying the fee online ?

Appreciate any help

Thanx :)

You can print the email and send it along with the passport as it contains all the information.

Congrats MK!

Did they mention anything about not being able to travel outside Canada without the PR card? We have an upcoming trip after we land, but it's just by land. And by land, I mean using our own private vehicle. I believe I read that we're allowed to travel outside Canada through our own private vehicle and just present a copy of the COPR. Please correct me if I am wrong, or if they gave you any info about this scenario. Thank you!

The guy said that COPR is not accepted for travel in airports. So you cannot travel until you get your PR card or are willing to apply for visa once you get out of Canada if you are flying.
However "it should be okay" was the response when I asked if I could enter Canada by land with the COPR attached to the passport.

Never did. My ecas updated from Application received to Initial Process today morning and is still IP but received a PPR email from CPC-O

Dear astasi, I finally updated my timeline in my signature. You can update the spreadsheet, lest people still need it for reference.

Told you!! our batch is almost done. Just a few more left. I think by the end of this month we will all be done :).

ECAS status says complete. I guess i can stop checking it everyday now. Haha!

We received your application for permanent residence on May 23, 2014.
We started processing your application on May 14, 2015.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
You entered Canada at the Prescott office on June 4, 2015 and became a Permanent Resident.

It has been 3 weeks since my status changed to DM but i havent received PPR yet. Anyone in the same boat? Any point of calling CIC agents?
