I know. It does feel good when things move in your favour. CIC is slowly catching up with their backlog. As soon as medical results are assessed, you all will get PPR as well.

Hey Dev,
Did you paid RRPF upfront?

No, i never did or paid anything upfront. As you will see from my signature n profile info, rprf request came a day before medical request.

oh i thought when status says medical received it means medical has been assessed.

I think that is how it is. When you do your medical, your Dr will send that to a board in Ottawa and they assess the results and submit their assessment to CIC.

Doctors submit their assessment. Someone at CIC still needs to put it into "Passed" state. At least that is my understanding.

My ECAS shows IP today :D ;D :-* :P

Good morning friends,

I received PPR last night. My application went In Process on May 14th, DM on May 20th & PPR on May 21st at 9.00 pm MT.

What came as a total surprise is that I have yet to submit the PCC under my previous name.....Maybe CIC had a change of heart!!

I am thinking of sending the PCC to CIC anyway as you never know they might ask for it on a later date and the PCC would be passed its validity date (3 months).

Congratulation _MK_
I went through it before. Actually the doctor only submit the result and some information, like is this normal number in your blood sample, etc. CIC has their own department call CIC's Health Management Branch (HMB) to assess the result. Any missing data or they need more information, they will send a request to you to another the medical examination.

Did you get PPR for your CEC or PNP application?

I suggest you call them and ask if there is any documentation required.
You might have made that India trip in vain!
Also it takes about 2 weeks from sending of passport to getting it back with visa.

I wonder if CIC relaxed a bunch of rules to process things faster. I was sure my PCC was expired(over one year since I filed) but they never requested a new one.
