They always tell you to inform them if some 1 is not in canada they will arrange the Visa where your spouse resides.
I have read in one of the forum. He Mail them about his wife not in canada, then he send the same letter with his passport to ottawa.
He got reply in 10 days to send his wife passport were she stays. and both of them got the passport back at the same time at the mailing address.

Mat this should help you.

Thanks for the reply. :)

Don't worry too much about it. CIC has been dealing with an enormous backlog lately, and for that reason NS has been processing PR files as well, not just Ottawa. There are applicants who have gotten every piece of correspondence from NS throughout their processing, and just the final PPR email from Ottawa. The source of the MR email doesn't seem to matter time-wise, and the time at which the file is transferred to Ottawa carries less meaning now than what it used to. I highly doubt that getting emails from NS would mean that the PR would be received significantly later.

The call centre agents are notoriously clueless about what's going on, and they're also not allowed to say much more than what the official guideline is (17 months processing time). If you look at all the people who got PPR yesterday (me included), no one's file had been processed for 17 months in Ottawa. The 17 months is just a target for them, basically to cover their own asses, so that when the vast majority of applicants get processed faster than that (although there's always some exceptions) they can pat themselves in the back and say they did a good job for going under the target.

Hi Lisa my medical request from NS
So does it mean my application will be process in NS

hi buddy ... ur medical is recieved yet or not?

Hello dear friends (especially those who have received their Passports back already),

Need some advice. So I am going to send our passports via Canada Post XpressPost and I purchased the "Signature on Delivery" add-on.

Should I send it to the PO Box address as per the instruction in the email if you are going to send via Canada Post or send it to the Courier (street) address?

Thanks

If you are sending via Canada Post, then send it to the PO Box address and it doesnt matter about Sugnature Required Option. I just sent my passport today via Canada Post and asked thr same question, and was told that it is OK. ..

Thank god after waiting for long time i got my ppr on 15 may 2015 please update thanks
