Hi guys, I am confused about a line in PPR email. It says that " Quote your application number on your correspondence and sent the package to one of the following addresses" . My question is do we need to write application number in envelope? or what does that mean?
Your help is highly appreciated.

Hello Guys,

Congratulations to everyone who got PR last week. I have one question, hope someone can help.

I heard that some get MR from Nova Scotia and some get MR from Ottawa. Why is that? One whose file is in Nova Scotia will have late PR as his/her file is to be transferred to Ottawa? I called CIC and the agent told me timeline for PR is 17 months when your file is in Ottawa. Any idea?

Don't worry too much about it. CIC has been dealing with an enormous backlog lately, and for that reason NS has been processing PR files as well, not just Ottawa. There are applicants who have gotten every piece of correspondence from NS throughout their processing, and just the final PPR email from Ottawa. The source of the MR email doesn't seem to matter time-wise, and the time at which the file is transferred to Ottawa carries less meaning now than what it used to. I highly doubt that getting emails from NS would mean that the PR would be received significantly later.

The call centre agents are notoriously clueless about what's going on, and they're also not allowed to say much more than what the official guideline is (17 months processing time). If you look at all the people who got PPR yesterday (me included), no one's file had been processed for 17 months in Ottawa. The 17 months is just a target for them, basically to cover their own asses, so that when the vast majority of applicants get processed faster than that (although there's always some exceptions) they can pat themselves in the back and say they did a good job for going under the target.

I need a help.

My spouse is out of Canada.

How to get Visa stamp for her ?

Iam the principal applicant living in Canada. I can send my passport to Ottawa but what about her.

If anyone else in my situation then please help me.

Can anybody recommend an eMedical enabled panel physician in Mississauga for the medical check?

Usually how long does it take for the appointment? I got my medical request on May 09, but I'm currently not in Canada until next weekend. I'm worry that time is too short for 30 days to finish it :(

It takes around 7 days for the results. As the doctor gets the results s/he sends the results through the online system so it would be updated at the time they provide the required approval. They don't sent the results by mail, so not to worry.

They always tell you to inform them if some 1 is not in canada they will arrange the Visa where your spouse resides.
I have read in one of the forum. He Mail them about his wife not in canada, then he send the same letter with his passport to ottawa.
He got reply in 10 days to send his wife passport were she stays. and both of them got the passport back at the same time at the mailing address.

Mat this should help you.

One of my friends was in that situation. His wife sent all 2 passport (wife and kid) to him in Canada. After he received 2 passports. He sent them both to Ottawa and then got stamped. CIC sent all of the passports back to him. He came back to his home country and then returned to canada with his family and with the stamped passports.
