Your brother was able to figure out anything for you Astasi?

Did you try the Indian Consulate, astasi? Maybe they can help you if you have the passport with your previous name.

Hi Feb2004,

I was in India on vacation in March and had applied for my PCC while I was there. Once CIC requested for my CEC application I was able to send it right away.

But my bad luck as after a week I got a request for my PNP application to submit another PCC under my previous name and so far I have not been able to figure out how to resolve this issue.... :(
Hi astais,
I really don't know about PCC from India. But in my case, I had to do some request documents from here for my PCC, and sent it back to my home country (Vietnam) via Fedex. After about 4 weeks, I received it back. This is not the additional request from CIC, I did that when I was preparing my application. I think they will have a way to support Indian outside India to get PCC. hopethat you will find a way.

Nope buddy....No success so far. The silver lining is my leave has been approved for 2 weeks and I may have to take another trip just for PCC.

Hey master13,

Congrats for IP. and thanks for sharing the good news about CIC. Can you also please also let us know if it applies to all 2014 applications or just application received till June 2014 or any particular month as this will bring hopes for most of the applicants here and to me as well!!! ;D

Cheers

As far as i understood doesn't matter. All the paper applications.

Do not worry if its another trip to India and you can meet your family again. :) Stay positive. My dad had to go through many people to get my PCC but I was surprised that no one asked for big bucks. Got it done in 500-600 rs/. If you are from a district you will get it done in 2-3 days.
Stay positive :)

Additional docs: MARCH 01
Sent on MARCH 05

hi Deepdepp we have very similar timeline, but I changed my address once in October and also updated CIC with my new passport back then do you think this delays the process? I have not seen IP show still. It's MED RCVD still. I am happy to see a lot May and June applicants who got PPR

Did you get the reply back that automated email?

if you got that then you are ok, if not send again if you still don't get automated message you should be Okay most likely they will get it.

this happened to me last year when I email them and no AOR but it did go through as they replied after 47 days
