Hi Guys

I'm in BC and I sent my file to NOVA SCOTIA in July 2014. I got my medical exam done in Sep 2014 then nothing updated afterwards.

Does anyone know which month are they actually working on now? How many more months do I have to wait...

Hi,

Currently June applicants are receiving RPRF requests and some of May applicants have received passport requests.

Going by the present trend you are perhaps 4-6 weeks away from receiving RPRF request.

Hey budy, congrats :), seems like things has moved fast for you this year.
Did you paid RPRF in advance? did CIC ask you to pay that before your status become "In Process"
when did your ECAS status become "Medical received"? I want to figure out the wait time.

Been moving fast this year (touch wood!) after the horrible waiting time of last year...I didn't pay RPRF in advance, only did so after I got an email reminding me that $490 needs to be paid. Only after that did the application status become "In Process". My ECAS status did not change to "Medical Received" at all, but stayed at "Application Received" for the longest time. Only a couple of days back did it change to "In Process".

Which province did you apply for your PNP?

I actually paid in the very beginning... I will not get a RPRF request...

Hey guys,

I received an email from CPP-O today (Mar 25th, 2015) asking the following additional doc:

Schedule A: Please provide a separate, newly completed and updated Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature which contains no gaps in your Personal History (Q8) or list of Addresses (Q12).

I think this is kind of strange. Why would they request additional doc after asking me to pay the RPRF on Feb 5th, 2015? Can you please advise.

Here are my timeline:

(1) BC-PNP nominated in Feb, 2014
(2) File received by CIC-Sydney on May 29th, 2014
(3) MD received on July, 2014
(4) Additional doc: RCMP background check on Oct, 2014
(5) RPRF fee requested on Feb 5th, 2015
(6) Additional doc: updated Schedule A on Mar 25th, 2015

It seems they are very concern with my background, but actually I am just a full time student. I don’t know why! Not quite sure when can I expect to get Passport Request.

I got the same request as well. Did you change your address after applying at CIC?

YES :) My friend from May got PPR. His application was in Process on Feb 21 and PPR on march 03 :D

Folks, who got their AoR in past 2 weeks, any update on MR? [Specially the May-June applicant?]

It seems like we're just in a normal queue and no sorts of urgency has been shown yet from CIC, even giving our AoR after almost 10 months.

I honestly dont think we will be in any urgency queue. We are in normal queue. On the bright side, they plan to be able to complete this work in 6 months for EE applicants and likely everyone else as well. So we are looking at least 6 more months for our applications since we just got into the normal queue with our AOR.

There is no urgency queue and no normal queue. There are no queues. If there were, then some of us (may-june) would not be sitting with an aor after 10 months while june-july-aug applicants getting MR, rprf and ip.

The fundamental attritbutes of a queue, no matter how long it is, are fairness, certainty and transparency; all these 3 are much to be desired here. It can take 2 months or 6 or forever.

Not really. Still waiting for MR. It seems that timeline is 2-3 weeks for MR after AOR.
