Also, they are considering language skills for calculating score out of 1200. Does that mean that even those PNP applicants who were waived of the language testing (NOC - A) will have to take tests for it?

That's a very interesting question...A lot of uncertain things with this new EE program..mmm

If you had a representative for the PNP portion of your application (not the federal CIC app), does the Ontario PNP quality control call the representative or the applicant? Does anyone know?

Thanks for the reply. I am going to contact my representative. Have not heard from them since March.

Did anybody have QA call in mid October? The one who called me in Nov said that I will be contacted within 8 weeks. So, it means that applicants who received QA call in mid October should be contacted by CIC this week. if there is any please raise your hand.

I saw this article today, clarifies a lot of the confusion, at least for me.

Thanks ness for sharing. Although this creates a lot more confusion for me. I dont understand:
" Holders of work permits based on (PNP) Certificates may not apply under EE. I thought pnp holders get 600 points just like that. Too many contradictions or i dont get it.
I have pgwp after masters in canada and pnp certificate based on that.

Just sit tight and wait for your app to process the normal way. EE is not going to help us.

Guys, I just saw this forum and after going through previous posts I see how random this whole process has been processing.

Timeline:
I submitted my application in 3rd week of June (nominations from Ontario, masters stream)
In November 2nd week, received a call from Opportunities Ontario for Quality Assurance.

Status:
I have not received the file number yet, and no news from CIC on application status.

Questions for the members here:
1. Did anyone receive the file number after QA call? How long did it take to receive it?
2. Does anyone know if starting January, our applications will continue to be processed under current Economic Class or moved to new system of express entry?

Highly appreciate your response.

Guys, I noticed in the spreadsheet no one who got nominated from Ontario and submitted application to CIC in June / July actually received AOR... does that sound true?

I dont think there would be any progress in Dec.

Hello guys,

Those who think that one will be considered for EE if we don't get AOR by December this year. That's not true.

Please have a look at this link:

Look at question number 7 on this page.

Hi,

I think that this means that if you already have your PN and a work permit based on it and are currently in Canada, you will have to go the "old" paper route to obtain PR. I think the reason to why they are doing this is because otherwise EE's quota would immediately fill up with people that was very likely to get PR anyway (you are pretty much 100% to get PR if you have PN, it just takes a long time), they would just enter EE to get it faster. Does that make sense?

Well my wp is not based on pnp but on my masters in canada. My pnp is based on my masters edu too. I think the article is refering to those who came as tfw and got their work permit extended based on their pnp app or cert. Thats why i m confused. Never heard of this.
EE quota will not be filled because they are hoping to get 285K new PRs. And pnp is already in ee from jan. As per the ranking system, pnp holders or job holders get 600 points.

I wish i cud believe what all is mentioned on the cic website. Because nothing has been going according to that. If we (no aor) are not getting into ee, then we will get pr (if we ever do) after ee applicants in jan-mar and normal pnp applicants in sept 2014?
