My application was received by Sydney intake office on 25th MAY 2014 (ACCORDING TO CANADA POST)
I haven't received any confirmation since then.


I there anybody having the same timeline as mine?

Hello all,
I received my AOR and medicals on august 5th. I have given my medicals on 12th august and it got updated on ecas on 21st august. I recently got married (on august 16th). Can you please let me know the procedure to add my spouse to my file. thanks in advance.

Cic can take a month or more for aor. That does not mean applicant will be asked to reapply for pnp for their delay. What if the certificate expires before getting a pr. Why limit to aor. The same thing happened on the 2 year validity of passport while applying for pnp. Mine had less than 2 yr validity when pnp was in process.
@ MK if there is a missing document they ask for them and not return it all. thats what i have heard. Also as per pnp certificate; it can be renewed for special reason. I guess cic delay will be a good reason Lets not worry too much. We r not alone. There are 1000+ of them in same situation.

Well they did return mine once. I originally sent mine on April 20. They sent it back on May 1(received may 5...) saying I did not include a form. It didnt make sense since I triple checked everything. So i sent back with a letter saying I did include the document you wanted. At the time I was pretty impressed with the speed with which they sent my application package back.
I resent in mid May which was received on 23 may. This time they didnt mail it back but charged my credit card on June23 (exactly one month since receiving).

I see. i wasnt aware of the process. Usually applicants are still being notified about missing documents within a month. If cc has been charged i guess its all fine now. just a delay for other unknown reasons. Asking for missings docs is good news. atleast one can be sure they r not dumping 2050 CAD (1500+550) worth applications into tandoor.

I spoke to OPNP. She said that there is QA going on but she does not know whether my application is under review or not. She cannot comment on any other possible reason. If they are being open about it, then i guess QA is the cause of delay.
My conjecture: Probably app at ottawa are being reviewed(read other threads). They will not send new batch from cio to ottawa cic unless the QA/queue is cleared.

Why would they have a due date on RPRF and Spouse/Common Law fee? I thought they demand it separately after AOR is generated. Also, I already paid 1100 (550 each applicant)+ 1500 by credit card online.

I'm new here, I have been following this thread because I sent my application in June 2014 to Sydney (MPNP candidate) and it was received july 3rd. I just got AOR yesterday.
