Morning I got an email ,with UCI and Application number ,what does this number represent ,does this mean an AOR
Uci and EP both no. Are different which one is file no?
how long will it take to get MR .

Rippy UCI number is your unique noon ur immigration docs. 8 digit number and application no you got is your file number. Anytime you need to check you application status make sure you have both numbers with you.

Its again for Ontario applicants.I went to PNP office but they are saying QA process is going on nd they dont hav any knowledge. i asked the lady how long it going to take place and she was quiet. Not satisfactory answer.

Thanks for sharing the info. So it seems QA is going on for OPNP applicants. Probably this is a routine exercise conducted by cic sometimes. Not sure if QA is for all applications but some. However, there will be interventions, queuing and delay due to that. Meanwhile ontario pnps are being granted to applicants, credit cards are being charged and missing documents are being requested by cic. PNP team may/ may not know but won't tell us on cic's behalf. cic never told me anything directly on the email either.

Which lady did you talk to? You should talk to the person who is in charge the PNP office.......

Reception? Nathalie or Maggie? These two persons are just Inquiry Officer and definitely do not know much about this issue......

You may need to speak to person like Faranda, Tony (the manager) or Petrides, Panos(team leader) regarding this.

got a new email from cic.

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence to Canada as an applicant under the Ontario provincial nominee program. You recently received a letter from our office requesting additional documents in order to continue processing your application.

If some of these documents were not applicable to your situation and were not submitted when you initially applied to the Government of Ontario to obtain your Ontario provincial nominee certificate, they are not required at this stage.

Specifically, as you applied for the Ontario provincial nominee program under the International Masters Graduate or International PhD Graduate streams, please note that employment records are not applicable to you. These documents are not required in order to process your application. However all other documents requested in the first letter you received are still required.

Dear friends,

I have not received AOR yet and my PNP Certificate will expire on 14th September 2014. Is that a matter of concern?
I have a letter from Ontario PNP about Temporary Work Permit, it says that I can present that letter along with completed application for work permit to get a new work permit. Which application are they talking about? I am confused between Open work permit / work permit extension (as I am already in Canada and my work permit is valid till May 2015).

you should apply for BOWP (bridge open work permit).

I dont quite recall when my nomination expire but I believe it was sometime in August(might already have expired).
However there is nothing to be done on our end as we sent our applications in on May.

For Bridge work permit, should we apply for it now or near the time when the current permit will expire.
I am assuming AOR is required.

@semmir : As @_MK_ rightly said, we might need an AOR before applying for BOWP.
But there is a separate letter that we got with Ontario PNP certificate which says that we can apply for a temporary work permit at a port of entry along with a completed application for that and that letter.

The confusion is, which work permit application are we supposed to fill for that matter?

I am not really familiar with BOWP procedures as I had not thought I would need it.
I believe they are refering to a BOWP application. No the work permit application that we have.

I suspect having a AOR would be one of the major requirements for it though. Either ways we should get number before May of next year.
Waiting is all we can do at this point.
