Yeah. That's interesting! My credit card was charged on the 18th of June, technically, they should have received my application before they can process the payment. However, money was taken but no one confirmed the receival of application. Shiet just doesn't add up. Well I hope we all receive our AOR by tomorrow or sometimes next week. I guess we won't be getting our PR until April 2015.

Hello,

You receive AOR after about 2-3 weeks once your card has been charged. The fact that your card has been charged shows CIC has received your application and is in queue for further processing.

Hi what about I paid online, so the charge showed on my credit card transanction immediately before I submitting. But I filled in the payment form as well. Does this affect?

Hello Qi,

Did you send the receipt for online payment with your application? As long as you send the receipt for online payment you should be good or else if your card gets charged by CIC twice you can always call CIC and request them for the refund.

[Bumping my previous post]

Why do you think it will take so long? Isn`t Passport request the only thing left after Medical Examination Request which we are already getting along with AOR?
I am assuming our Background checks wouldnt take much time as it must have been done for PNP Application processing.

What say?

Well, let's say we get the AOR and med request by the 20th of July. we probably won't have the med done and sent in until the end of July. From then on, it takes a good 6-7 months until decision made. so that would be the end of March. Then it'll take a couple weeks for the passport request and passport return. so yeah, i'm thinking April 2015 for PR. I hope CIC will prove me wrong.

I hope so too. Too bad that it can be so long before we get the confirmation:( I thought our applications were on fast track processing and we would have got the confirmation in under a year :(

I applied for PNP in september last year, getting PR in march would mean, all the pain was not worth it as CEC would have been faster which they process in under a year.

I did print them out, but still fill in the form just in case. Thanks for your reply! coz the credit card info that I filled in was expired lol.

Hi

Got nominated by Ontario PNP yesterday. I have a question regarding fee payment.

I am married, Do I have to pay 2*550=1100 for application fees and 2*450=900 for PR card fees at once? or do I have to pay the application fees only? is my calculation correct for me and my spouse?

what form of payment do you suggest?

Thank you

Congratulations for your nomination. I paid 2@550 = 1100. However, I would recommend that you check the instructions (I am pretty sure it is written somewhere over there). For PR card fees, I didnt pay yet assuming that is requested only when our PR is approved. I would let seniors comment on the information that I provided though.

I have sent my application on 30th June, received at CIC nova scotia 5th July.
Can anybody let me know that they first charge my cr.card and then send the AOR???
Am I right?

Hi All,

I live in Ontario and I applied for my PR under the provincial nominee program (international student with a job offer) this year and the application was received by CIC on the 28th of April. In early June I got a request for the medical exam so both my wife and I submitted it and as of today (11 Jul) our online application file shows that our medical results have been received by CIC. Would anyone be able to advise (based on historical knowledge) as to what sort of time line I can expect moving forward ?

Also, is it true that now that the medicals have been submitted it is most likely that I will not be called in for an interview ? Or are these two items unrelated ?

Thanks in advance.

congrats to everyone who received file process info.hope to get good news soon.god bless us
