Hello,

The current processing time for AOR is 45-50 days from the date of receipt of the application at Nova Scotia. Depending on your location if you add 7-10 days for postal process you should expect your AOR latest by August 5th.

Since you addressed your application to the PO Box address there is no way to know whether CIC received your application till you receive the AOR. However I must add that Canada Post is a reliable postal service provider.

So keep calm and have faith and patience.

How did you pay for the processing fees - by online/ credit card/ bank draft?

Its my first time to write in the room.I already applied for CIC on june 13th,2014 through Pox Box.But till know July 7,I didn't get any confirmation from CIC.Is that because of Post office problem,should I send another application,what shall I do the dead line is in August.Should I send a new application and send it through courier.When will CIC notify z confirmation that they have received an application.Its urgent.

Don't worry, mine was received June 12 and nothing for me yet so I think there is nothing to worry at this time...

Oh your application was received a day after mine, received June 11th. Lets hope they send us AOR soon

Congrats @pinoybrat! Our files were received on the same day. Still haven't got my AOR yet. Hope can get it today or tomorrow. A bit worried now.

Hi all,
I m new to the forum i submitted my application to cio on may 27, 2014 and they receieved on june 2, 2014.
Haven't heard anything from cio after that. Waiting for the file number.......

Everyone said the Fee was deducted about month from submitting.
Are those people paid online?
I paid my application fee and right of PR online through Visa (which were supposed to be charged when I placed the order), I write my Visa information on the payment form as well.

But the visa information I wrote on was replaced by a new card. Does this hurt?

CIO received on May 23rd, didn't hear anything back yet.

Wait for your med request. Usually they send it together w your file number if not wait for their email

Is there anyone who got their file number? Cic is going really slow in issuing file numbers, i dont know why...... There are so many people who applied by may 10, 2014, haven't got their file numbers. A bit worried about it

I paid through a bank draft.And am from India,when I check the bank draft status its saying pending.How long does it take to receive an application by CIC.
