Hey Guys. I am July applicant and I just got landing fees and RCMP request. Does anyone have idea that how much time will it take to get the PPR request from now. My WP is also expiring in the end of June. Should I renew it ?? I was wondering if it is not going to take long then why renew it?? We can use that $150 in parties after PR... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;DI would love to get the replies from you guys and good luck to all the July applicants in this forum. It is our turn now to get the PR . ..

If I were you I wouldn't renew the WP just yet. I'd wait at least until early June before doing it. Based on recent timelines here, it's quite a fast transition from RPRF fees to IP, and many people here have gotten PPR after just a few weeks after IP.

With your permit expiring in June end you would be cutting it too close. I suggest you spend $255 ( and not $150) and have your peace of mind. Normally it is taking about 2 months for PPR after paying your landing fees.

On another note as liisa suggested you can wait till early June and make a decision. With processing time of about 55-60 days for work permit application you would be on implied status till a decision is made on your PR/WP application is made and you can continue to work legally.

File received by CIO: 20 July, 2014
AOR: 11 Feb. , 2015
Med. Received: 13 Feb. 2015
Med. Received by CIC: 22 Feb.2015
RPRF and RCMP request: 17 April, 2015-PRPF paid right away and RCMP has been done. Will get the results in 5-7 days. Will forward to CIC then.

Only if they ask I never got request for Canadian PCC or finger prints

You should feel lucky if they work weekdays....
