CIO received my application on 6th May 2014. After 49 days, I got this AOR. My VISA office is Singapore. It depends on the VISA office may be.

Hope you will also get your AOR this week.

I had submitted my documents on2nd May to CIO and they received it on 9th may . Still now I didn't receive any email or message from CIO Nova Scotia . Now,what I have to do?

Yes, it might come within this week. There are statistical data posted by someone. Please review those, you will find the trend according to your visa office.

Hi, thanks a lot for keeping me on the loop. You will be happy to know that today just now I have received the AOR from Sydney, NS and the application is now processing.

I think your AOR will be coming soon.

Oh that is a good news. But i do have a prob though. Earlier this month i have noticed that i did not put my email add on the generic form, only that of additional reqt paper. I think it will be a default that they will send it via post. Stupid me. But i had sent email and post mai stating my email add. Hopefully, they will respond to it. Congrats Neeloy!!! Atleast we know May applicants are moving.

Submitted my application on 21st May and CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia received it on 23rd May.
Havent heard from them since then.

Eagerly waiting!

PS -> How do you display your profile details under your profile pic as is the case with other members?

I applied bc pnp on Nov 15 , 2013 and get nominated on Feb 15 , applied pr on Mar 25,2014 and get the cic file number on May 12 . waiting for Medical exam , anyone know how long will it takes?

and i read from other post , so the cic is now processing the dec doc ?? does that mean we still need to wait for 5 months to get to next step ??

As you are a newbie thats why the option is not yet open to set a picture and update the timeline. This is depends on the number of posts. When you become member then you can change/update your profile with picture

As far as I know, there are difference, as courier reach faster than regular mail. I have submitted my application using Fedex courier. One of the other benefit using Fedex type of courier is you can see every step of your package.

I sent my application out with canada post express , it is consider as regular mail but still get a tracking number , if using other courier , then it will have to send it to a different address !! The main different is Canada post has a P.O box @ Sydney so it has it's own address.

I am under Alberta PNP post-grad category
CIO SYDNEY NS received mine on 23 May as well.
Waiting for AOR...
