Do you have an open WP? Is your nomination tied to your job? Have you let the PNP office know that you have been laid off?

What type of open work permit it is? They mentioned my company name 2 years ago.
I did not tell them ,

It depends on a lot of different factors like where you are from, how much traveling you have done and if you have lived in other countries. This part is not done by CIC they have to wait for information from other countries agencies.

When does your WP expire?

Hi!! so with the security check, they do background check with the countries you have stayed for more than 6 months aside from the PCC that we submit??I was just thinking that this might be the cause of my delayed DM/PPR, I've been to 3 different countries, Canada is my 4th, and my partner had 2 different countries too. :'(

My wife is in process of updating her passport coz of the marital update ...now would this be an issue if I update cic with a new passport number ... I haven't receieved AOR yet? please guide me

If I am right you are a January applicant so you should get PR very soon so I am not sure if you would have time to find another employer. But if you did and they were willing to pay the Compliance fee then I am pretty sure you could take proof of the compliance fee and job offer along with your PNP certificate (you may have to get a work permit support letter from PNP as well) right to the border and they can give you a new closed WP right there. You wouldn't have to wait 4 months to be approved and could start working pretty fast.

If this is something you might be able to do just do a bit more looking into it to make sure I am right. But as far as I know closed WP'S can be issued right at the border. My bf got his last WP at the border. But make sure the rules are the same as we are not from the same province.

Just a suggestion, but I have a feeling you PPR is coming very soon.

Hi I am supposed to received my GCMS notes today, but got nothing yet. CIC required me to submit additional documents from my common-law partner(IMM8000) on April 6, and sent thru CSE, my application have been really past due,,I called CIC today if they were able to received the documents but the agent told me, its too early, and again I have to wait.. really sucks

I know what you feel. No pain no gain. Nothing you can do except waiting.

HI all. . today i got email from cic asking for updated schedule A form.
My question is how should i send this form back to cic? I know that i can send it through mail or courier. But i also read in the email that i can send it via case specific enquiry form. So should i print the form, scan it and then send it OR can i place my signature on IMM5669E PDF file itself and send it?

They usually acknowledges the cse within 10-14 days. So they might have not yet attended the cse to attach them to the application.

so that means,,my application would probably be still in process until next month,,WOW!! this is really devastating..it would be easy for me to accept that situation if i am not on a restoration...my application for restoration is on its 3 months, but i guess not even open yet :'( :'( :'( :'(
