No news from CIC January applicant

It is our 15mo due today but when we called CIC they said that we do not need to do anything as everything is completed, no correspondence or any other update nor further instruction. Agent said we just need to wait for another 5 mos to follow-up since 15 is just an average waiting period and they are extending our medicals. CIC is really crazy! Do not know what to do now. Can someone advise us what can be done else to trigger our case?

I think it is better we all remain January applicants provide a letter and sign it and send it to CIC.

It does not make sense why 5 months?!!!!

They sent a correspondence last September reminding to submit Police clearance and pay for the fees. Other than that Agent says we do not need to send anything as everything has been cleared and checked. Very frustrating CIC! It doesn't really makes sense, we are just hoping that it is just the agent spiel and we still would hear from CIC soon.

Dilemma is, our medicals are turning one year this May and passports will be less than a year this June if they wont release the approval anytime soon... CIC is putting our lives into jeopardy!

the last correspondence i got too was on September, my application have been past due, after several calls, the agent told me that she will send a letter to the VO to take a look at my papers, after 2days, i received an email asking me to send some additional documents from my partner,,,,really sucks, why didnt asked for it earlier, only when my papers have reached its due process. now i have to wait again and i dont know how long :'( :'(

Did you apply for ATIP?

Yes, the ATIP also states the same, everything has been checked and nothing to submit? It seems that our case was not touched since September. Is there anything I need to look in the ATIP that would help our case?

Hi Guys! I finally got my GCMS notes, it's kinda weird coz its noted that my Common Law is not accompanying, i paid for him in everything, he even went for his medical, have sent every info they asked from him. I really got confused. My notes is 54 pages,some i dont even understand, Security not started, some of the criminality passed, some not started..I really dont know what to think now.

Hi! any news yet? got my notes today, for the assessment ELIGIBILITY-passed, SECURITY-Not Started
CRIMINALITY-Passed, MEDICAL-Passed, OTHER REQS-Not Started..I have no idea how long it would take for us to keep on waiting. The weird part of their notes is the summary, i think the 3rd page from the last, they noted that my common law is not accompanying, and his medical and PCC are left blank, but he did all those.and he is accompanying on my
application, even paid his RPRF, really confusing.

Verify the form IMM0008 you sent (if the partner was marked as accompanying). if you have mentioned then you can raise cse to ask for it with a letter to include at this stage itself.

i just did checked and yes, he is accompanying. there are also pages on the notes written ACC-(is this mean accompanying?) and noted YES for my common law and dependent child

I think that is for accompanying (i too went back my gcms and checked to make sure). looks like yes. so if that says yes then you are fine.

are you also with family sponsor? under my common law details(client 2) it doesnt show any further details like mine and my child. not showing his medical, just the name, dob, gender, relationship, ACC..i dont know if thats a mistake from gcms coz its really blank,

In Client details we can see ACC:Yes and Relationship: Spouse/Child.
I have my spouse and child in my application.
Medical is being shown under medical section after page 12 or so.

Yeah,, really kind a weird coz i really don't see any details about my common law partner's medical result and even PCC status, which we provide everything. Its really bizarre.
