PNP PR APPLICANTS JANUARY 2015

Hi Everyone,

I just have a question. My application was received on January 29, 2015 and I just got an email today saying ready for visa. My concern is that it says passport must be valid for at least 6 months. My passport is expiring on June 26, 2016. So I have 5 months left. Is it okay to still submit it? I'm planning to just write them a letter of explanation. I'm also 8 months pregnant and won't be able to travel to renew my passport.

Nope. Usually CIC asks us to send:
1. Passport or photocopy of passport depends on if you are from a visa-exempt country or not.
2. Photos
3. Copy of the ready for visa email.

Thanks, NBUNB. I sent our passports today. Let's see when they will be received by CIC.

I am Jan13 applicant... no PPR yet... inland with dependents... I am troubled too on what's going on with our application.. let's just hope and pray! Will try to call CIC next week if we don't hear anything.

As per your AOR they started processing your application on last week of May. So wait for another week. Probably you will receive your DM or PPR next week that's what I believe.

I applied on January 22 but the people who applied after me got their PPR so don't stress yourself we should get ours by the end of next week. My ECAS is decision made now so are you on the same status?

Try on it instead of asking for it. At the max, its going to fail.

harirajmohan, the question wasn't actually for those who doesn't have any idea or experience at all. The essence of this forum it to share relevant info whenever available.

BTW. All of a sudden I have 5 lines as of today. Stupid line was added saying that they've sent an acknowledgment on may 28th. This line wasn't there yesterday.

Do you guys have any changes in your ecas?

Yuanguangzhao, CIC will receive my passport and related documents on on Monday, February the 1st. And hopefully I will get it back within 2 weeks. I will keep you posted if my return tracker gets activated.
