I got PPR too this morning at 5:46, exactly 12 months since my application was received by CIO. Praise the Lord!

Oh no, you got it one day before me. I got it in one year and one day. lol
Anyway, congrats man. I am so glad that the painful waiting time is almost over.

It's official. I am a permanent resident of Canada. Crossed the border in Vancouver yesterday around 2pm..
Whole process took only 5 min. Only 3 or 4 questions.
Where are you from ?
What is your address?
Do you want to import any goods from your own country.

Hi Folks, finally got the much waited ready for visa email this morning

Btw, in the ready for visa email they did NOT put my apartment number but the house number is correct. Do you guys think I should ignore it? In the visa stamp on your passport or in any PR documents, does the address have to exactly the same like the one on Ecas?

Thanks bud. It's really good to see that lot of January applicants are getting PPR request. It wasn't for all of you guys, it could have been a terrible journey. We all helped each other and motivated each other. This forum rocks

Hi there
I am Jan 15 applicant. I was waiting for ppr. Today i call cic call centre he informed me my pr file transfer to india. I added my wife in middle of application once i get file number. I am worried about it. I think it would be more likely delay. Cic asked my wife document in October and in November they asked for pcc which i have provided in November. After that today i know they transfer my file to delhi on 7 January 2016. Please advise on this.

Hello all ,

Just a couple of questions , if someone could help . So , for Alberta --

1) Which is the closest border and best option for landing in terms of smooth process without any hassle . Which one is better - Carway or Coutts , what are their working hours for landing process?

2) What all documents we need to carry with us at the border ?

3) Can we do landing on weekends or weekdays are the best options ?

4)If someone accompanies us , how does it work out ? ( I mean does that person sit in the car , does that person need any documents for own )

5) Do we need to carry anyother application forms ( like PR CARD application , SIN application etc )

6) Do they give us SIN number at the border ?

7) How many days we have to cross border after we got our passport?

Answer to all these questions would be much appreciated .
