Has anyone requested for GCMS after becoming a PR? I'm thinking that it can help in knowing how decisions are made & who likely makes the decision. what factors are the decision based on.
This may go a long way in helping others who are waiting...

Due to new ministry, PAFSO might consider PLEA of extending their support for some months so new minister can understand their requirements... i hope ... so that PAFSO may regularise for some months again... hmmm... just a guess

I received the call from MP, she said that my file is "" pending madical exam"". What is that mean??! She said I only can upgrade on August 21，2013. And she said she called Ottawa, they just told her this. She doesnt know which step I am in! Anyone can help me?! Does my files even not start yet??

Hi Arale!

If you are already in Canada, then probably they are waiting on your medical extension from the Health department. Its possible that they are dont with the security/background checks and are just waiting on the medical extension. If you had to do the medical over again, you would have received the medical request already. I dont think you need to worry about it. Either apply for GCMS or email ottawa regarding this matter. Be specific with your question in order for you to get a definite and logical answer
