Checked my ecas this morning. It has changed to Decision made. Small victories!! I hope I hear back soon. "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Why did your file go to Ottawa in the first place? What visa office did you select? If you've not gone to Canada just respond to them and tell them that.

Just $490. You must have paid $550 when you first sent your application.

I honestly feel this pointless and unnecessary. The government of Canada can do whatever they want. They cancelled over 300,000 backlog FSW applications that were sent before 2008. I feel everyone's pain. Be patient.

Hi, The work permit I got was valid for 18months. I took the nomination letter and a support letter (in place of LMO). Documents: I pretty much took all my documents with me. Take everything that is required when you apply online. Hope this helps.

I went to the border to get a new work permit because I was switching jobs. I had a closed one.

You can go to the border for a new work permit. What provincial stream did you use?

I am so bothered and frustrated!! :'( I'm traveling in July, and would need a re-entry visa. I have been trying to submit online but I keep getting an error message. If I apply by paper mail, then I need to send my passport. :'(
