I Support Vancouver 71 .There is not even a single person from Dec 20 to Jan 10 .whose Ecase changed to IN PROCESS.

My friend application went to IP , he is Jan 5th applicant

It varies from case to case. I cannot tell about each and every case but all i can tell is it goes in sequence. Some cases take longer time so it gets delayed but this delay will not stop other candidates processing.

How come there is delay in complete application packages.i didn't get your point . I guess Dec 20 to Jan 20 application would be processed by CPC OTTAWA and application received after jan20 will be assessed by CIO SYDNEY. Because the nov applicants getting there updates like additional documents request from CIO SYDNEY office.Thats how i believe never mind.

Do you think the process can be longer if you apply on single applicant or with a partner?
I applied with my wife,so they have to check one more person...

I think it takes longer if there's more than one applicant, me and my brother (he is married) applied around same time, my online status is In Process but his status is just application rec'd.

RPRF request: Last week of june, 2014
ECAS turns InProcess : 8th July, 2014
Passport Request: 9th July, 2014
Decision mAde : 10th July, 2014

You can see from my timeline, everything took approximately 4 months. How it went so fast?, i have no idea. It is just God

just got an email from cpc ottawa as a revert of my follow up email for my status of my file , they said your file is in our office and is being assessed by one of our officers if any add doc needed you will be contacted accordingly lol idk i should be happy or they just lied cuz my ECAS still showing application received .

Did he pay on CIC website or filled out form and paid that way? If he/ she paid online a receipt print out from the webpage and filling lower half of this page required. If he/she paid some other way then payment form might need to be filled in this case. Depends!!!

yes he paid online and filled out all additional details as required. But on that receipt iin the NAME setion, my name was already there by default cuz it was my credit card. so he just put his name beside that and filled UCI and adress and sent it. no worries for him right?

Man, your status will change to IP once they start reviewing your app, and check you have all the documents, I'm dec 9 applicant and my status is still the same (application received) and it is because they requested more documents, that's why my application is not in process yet, because it's not complete.

Hi Arjun, I guess they wont lie, I see that my ecas online tool has not been updated since May 2014, I guess , they dont update it regularly or frequently, but your application is being processed I guess, may be you might see something in a few days, btw I know how it feels, I am an early Jan (First week) applicant still waiting for IP
