Hi Everyone!!!!
I just thought I would share with everyone what our finished application looked like with everything included! We sorted ours into three open ended expandable files 1. Sponsor and supporting documents, 2. Sponsored Spouse and supporting documents, and 3. Proof of relationship and supporting documents. Each section had its own table of contents and various tabs etc. This forum has helped me tremendously as we didn't use a lawyer or anyone to help us. It was mainly just me, my spouse (who is going to school and working full time in the US so he couldn't help as much as he would have liked to). I really don't think I could have had the confidence to send it off not having had a lawyer look through everything had I not had this forum and the many hundreds of topics and posts that helped me through it!
We sent it through Canada Post and placed the folders rubber banded together with a cover letter into a plastic envelope incase the box got wet through the mail.
Now all we have to do is wait it out! I thought I would be able to relax whilst waiting but find myself checking my email a million times a day and obsessively checking the January 2013 posting to see other peoples time lines
Good luck to anyone feeling daunted and overwhelmed as you begin to put your application together. You will get through it and it will all make sense by the end of it!
