Hi Mayak, good luck to you. Could you actually share with us what exactly did you do to make the record to get VISA in 6-7 months? It seems like the process time is very random and individualized and I thought it would be good if you could share with us some of the things that you might have done differently. Perhaps some of the things that I can think off off-hand wound be,
1. Sent all police clearance in the initial package
2. Use Bank Draft and not credit card
3. Do not send CIC any e-mail to inquire about status
4. Provide requested documents from CIC within a certain time frame (1 week?)

Appreciate your inputs in this matter.

congrats maynak, its been a long way..............., you deserve the best...........

Thanks to melkhatib,luckymystery,tracesg,renjith.

Good Luck to all.

Dear Tracesg,

I am more than happy to share it.

Yes, you already put good points. But Bank Draft or CC is not that much important at later stage.

Well It first depends on our positive Vision to our application.

PCC at first state helps to proceeds fast. More important is documentations.

I advise all of you to provide proper genuine documents with all details, that helps lot.

I also advise not to contact CIO or VO on frequently. It does not effect processing time but it does not mean that by inquiring your application time reduced. ;) ;)

Again, whenever there is query from VO, provide them reply ASAP so that your time will save.

Tips: I got MR request on 18 July. Book my MR appoint on 22 July. Made RPRF draft on 18 July. then send PP n all on 26 July.

So i never allow my Visa officer to relax. 8) 8) 8)

To some extent LUCK should be there.

GOOD LUCK AGAIN TO ALL. :) :) :) :)

Regards
Mayank

Hi everyone,

Greetings from Arpita!

I m a new joinee in this helpful and informative forum and seeking for advice from experience people here.

I m a Diploma Pharmacy holder and I have read almost all the pages of this forum to answer my question related to eligibility of a candidate with Diploma for FSW and i have concluded that Diploma holder can apply for FSW.

I have completed my diploma in 2000 and i have been worked as a registered pharmacist from 2000 to 2007 but after that i left the medical store which mean not working as a pharmacist since 2007 so i want to inquire if my experience is good enough to get full points for experience criteria in assessment.

Please advice me.

Regards,
Arpita

Work experience minimum requirements

If your application is eligible for processing, it will then be assessed against minimum requirements.

Your work experience must be:

for at least one year, continuous, and paid (full-time or the equivalent in part-time), AND
Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) list, AND
within the last 10 years.

so, I think u can apply. 8)
