this thread was pessimistic about people getting lottery so I read eligible as ineligible, my bad..

I guess if it is 12000 eligible then they will all get invited.

However, considering the experience of the IRCC I highly doubt that it will actually cross 10K.
That's bad if they reject 2000 people even after they sent them the invitations and they are actually eligible.

@scylla - For PGP application it is required to submit CV and Education Level in form IMM008. As per my understanding and the checklist, we do no need to submit education certificates or work experience proof. Please confirm.

My mom is retied and it will be very difficult to get work experience documents and education certificates translated in case they are required at time of submitting the application or during processing of the application.

I don't know. I haven't looked at the checklist and guide in detail.

Hi, I am going through the document checklist and preparing my application. I have a doubt regarding certified true copies. Do I have to provide certified true copies of the photocopies I’m attaching with the application? My parents are already in Canada and we have the necessary documents with us (in English, so I’m assuming that rules out preparing any notarized translation copies). But should we include certified true copies of anything or it isn’t mandatory? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

I am compiling a list of all the documents that I will be sending them and will share that list here soon for general verification and confirmation. Just right the top off my head, the photocopies that I know I have to submit are parents’ marriage certificate, my birth certificate.. etc.

Hey guys, I got selected for the PGP 2020 stream. Need some help filling out the IMM1344 form.

Some context: I meet all the requirements described however, I got married early last year and applied for a spousal sponsorship for my wife. The application is still being reviewed by CIC and as at the last time I checked, it's at 60%. A decision has not been made and we have until July for a final decision to be made based on the timeline provided by CIC.

Question: In the 'Sponsor Eligibility Assessment" section, Question 6 of IMM1344, It asks "Have you submitted a previous application in respect of which a final decision has not been made for the person being sponsored and their family member?" Do I answer "no" to this question being that I have never summited an application for my parents? Or does this also refer to the application for my wife?

Thanks for the help.
The person being sponsored this time is your parents, not your wife. so NO.

They won't reject. I mean from their experience they know how many valid application will be there..

Hi Team,

I am applying to sponsor my parents for PR status.
I know that my father has to fill out the IMM 5406 ("Additional Family Information") form. However - my mother is also required to fill out this form as the spouse of my father. I'm confused about how to fill it out. On the version of my father, under "Applicant," I obviously put the name of my father as the principal applicant. However, on my mother version of the form, under "Applicant" whose name must be written? Is it my mother's name ? If it is the same - how will CIC make out which form belongs to my father and which one belongs to my mother.

Thank you in advance.
