What comes under serious disease? Does TB comes under serious disease?
If you had a treatment in past what should to choose YES or NO?

If it is in inactive stage you will be ok ( they put you for surveillance) but if it is in active stage they will find you inadmissible on medical ground.

Thanks.

My question is what to put it answer of Statutory question? I am asking this because I had selected it as NO while submission of profile as I asked in few forums and they said that it's not a serious disease.

I am just afraid it not to be a case of misrepresentation.

TB is a very serious disease and the whole reason for having the chest x-ray. Declare it.

I suffered from acute disseminated encephalomyelitis in 2016. Because of this disease, i went into coma for a week and got paralysed. After 1 month of physiotherapy i started to walk and back to normal. I have been working for past 18 months. I am not on any medication for past 18 months as well. Do let me know will this hamper my express entry application?

Disagree because you can have a recurrence. Still think you will likely be approved but it is autoimmune condition.

Well, to be frank doctors are not even 100 per cent sure if it is adem. They are sure it not ms or nmo. Can you just clarify if adem recurrence rate is high?. My doctors said me that it is very rare for recurrence.

Despite the new medical inadmissibility rule[excessve demand 20000 $], will it be hard for me to get my medical successful?

No one here can tell you. Declare the condition and see what happens.

Hello,
And what about HiV and Statutory question? Especially virally suppressed HiV with good CD4
Should I choose yes or no?
There is no definition of serious disease.
On the Twitter IRCC responded that they consider medical condition serious if it is likely to cause danger to public health, likely to cause danger to public safety and likely to cause excessive demand.
HIV is not a threat to public health; nor does it endanger public safety and considering that I take generic version of medicines it Is unlikely to cause excessive demand.
Am I understanding right? Should I choose No?
