If one gets nominated by the PEI PNP, and thus gets PR using the additional 600 points gained, is one obligated to remain in Prince Edward Island for a specific period after getting PR?

Rather can one loose their PR card if they leave their province of nomination?

did u have a direct flight to PEI? At which airport did u complete the landing formalities? If someone has a connected flight to PEI then where should he complete the formalities?

No direct flight. I completed my landing formalities in Tornoto. The formalities will start at the first airport of Canada at which you land. Like my connecting flight was Pakistan->Abu Dhabi->London->Tornoto(immigration process)->PEI

thanks jahan, also, i heard on this forum that at the airport they ask address for PR card to be delivered, is that true? I wonder, because if someone has just landed,how he will have an address?

yes the ask because they assume you have some living arrangements. Tell them your situation and they will guide you

Passport and PR document. Also ask how much cash do you have and write it down on PR document. They may ask for bank statement in certain cases

Need some guidance.

I have received ITA for PEI PNP program. I have been given 30 days to collect the documents and submit them.
Unfortunately , I do not have the marriage certificate yet and I may need more than 30 days to collate the documents.

Is it possible to request PEI PNP office to request for more time? I do not want to send the application without the marriage certificate.

i do not think so, what you can do is, write an explanation letter and send it to them for your marriage certificate

tell them you have lost it or something similar and you have submitted a request to get it re-issued. Send the slip for marriage certificate request along with your explanation letter and request them to consider the request and that you will submit it as soon as it arrives. - Just be polite.
