PEI Nominee open for express entry!

Hi , did any one got ITA for PEI pnp. I sent my EOI in month of april and didnot receive any update regarding that and i applied in NOC code 2175.

Also if someone is landed in other province by getting PEI nomination.

After you have submitted your EOI, you will have to wait for their reply if they are interested in your background. You better make a good essay about why you chose PEI among others so you will be chosen.

Hi There,

I have send the EOI to PEI but haven't heard anything yet from them.
I have got a job offer from PEI in NOC 2282 and have more than 2.5 years of experience in the same field in Canada along with 2 year diploma from Canada.

If I update my express entry profile with the new job offer PEI and send the EOI again, will I be selected for the Express entry in PEI. Or If i go through the Skilled worker category PNP, how long will it take to get the PNP there?

Can anyone please reply and would be helpful.

Hi Buddy,

I'm in a very similar situation as you. Only difference is that I just landed in PEI and have 2 years IT experience in NOC 2282. Still searching for job.

I don't think they reply to EOIs anymore, Go for Skilled Worker Category.

BTW Is there any Funds requirement for Skilled Worker Category and one more thing what about Employer's participation in the process. Only a job letter is sufficient or any other form of help is required from Employer as well??

Yes, they have to help us with some papers to apply for PNP, its not just the Job offer.
i think there are 2 forms from the employer and the rest, we can do it. You need to have 2 years exp in last 5 years and job offer and something like that.
Do you know how long will it take to get the pnp through skilled category?
does it make any diff for the express entry pnp, if i have a job offer from PEI which i already have?

I think you should definitely go with Skilled Worker Category since there's no guarantee that you'd get their invitation.

I haven't applied yet bu I heard it take roughly 3 months to process your pnp file.

Note: It's outside Express Entry so you won't get those extra 600 points once you get PNP.

However, You could apply for Federal (I believe paper based) as soon as you get your PNP.

I had live in PEI for 5years(university life at UPEI)， now I am working in Toronto. After trying the big city life in Toronto, I decided to move back to PEI on permanent basis.

Do I have chance to obtain the 600 from "PEI PNP EE"?

1) If you have an EE profile, how can one apply to PEI PNP? Just fill in that form on their website and send by mail? or has the process changed?
2) Along with that form $300 CAD needs to be sent?
3) What are the NOCs open for PEI PNP?
4) Need job offer to apply for this PNP?
