Passports to CIC Ottawa: March 2017

Hey,

I received an email asking to send passport to Ottawa (email end on '@cic.gc.ca' so seems fine). There's no update on account though. Is it normal?

Hey,

Got PPR on March 24th, I sent my passport scan (only needed copies) and photos on March 27th, it was received on March 30th and when I logged in today my application shows as complete- approved.

Just have to wait for coPR now- tracker hasn't been activated yet, maybe later tonight.

I'm CEC Inland and AOR was January 22nd, whole process has been very speedy!

Same here. I expect to see some movement Monday or Tuesday. It seems they're taking about a week to process passports.

My CIC account updated overnight to show the application is approved and background check complete. Return tracker hasn't been activated yet.

Yes, We should send photographs along with passports. It is clearly mentioned in PPR mail.

I just sent my passport last night. The girl at post office told me to write down my name and address on the Xpresspost return envelope. I'm not sure if i was supposed to do that coz the PPR email didn't mention anything about it. Did you guys write down your addresses on the return envelopes?

Has anyone received "Ready for Visa" email and sent PHOTOCOPIES OF PASSPORT to Ottawa ?
Just wondering how long it will take to get the CoPR and if there is any dateline to cross the border for landing..
Ottawa received the copies on Monday this week.

I just sent my passport last night. The girl at post office told me to write down my name and address on the Xpresspost return envelope. I'm not sure if i was supposed to do that coz the PPR email didn't mention anything about it. Did you guys write down your addresses on the return envelopes?

You are not to write your name on the return envelope but hopefully it shouldn't be an issue for CIC
