Passports to CIC Ottawa: March 2017

No. tracker is also not activated. But today morning I got a response email for my yesterday's query saying that passport is sent on 28-Mar with details of tracking number (from the return envelope).

I will give it few more hours to see the tracker activated. Will let you all know.

My Canada post tracker says the passport will be delivered back today. So it took 8 days from it was delivered to the incorrect address.

Passports? Look at the trend on this thread and you'll see it takes less than 10 days for most applicants

If CEC within Canada in a big city - no more than ten days from sending to CPC and getting it back. My process took seven days from sending to getting it back

Has anyone received "Ready for Visa" email and sent PHOTOCOPIES OF PASSPORT to Ottawa ?
Just wondering how long it will take to get the CoPR and if there is any dateline to cross the border for landing..
Ottawa received the copies on Monday this week.

Hi All,

I got my PPR yesterday and I am about to send my PP to Ottawa CIC office but I have the following questions, please advise me and URGENT!!

1) I have included my Canadian born child in the application as accompanying child, so, do I need to send his Canadian passport / copies? if so, do I need to send his
photos too?
2) For each, I have 2 photographs meeting the PR photo specification. One Photo is stamped and dated by the photo studio and second one is without stamp; my question
is do I need to write name and DOB on both photographs or on only one which has stamp on it?

1. I guess so if he is part of the application? You have to send passport and photos for all family members in your application (although wouldnt he already hold a canadian passport? Why would you need to send his passport?)
2. Only 1. Instructions are clear on that

You wont get any message. That is all until you land (i haven't landed yet so don't know what changes once you finish landing)
