Parents Visitor Visa - one approved one missing

My parents applied for Visitor Visa last June. We understand that the visa processing will take a while because of the strike. But just 2 weeks ago August 14, my mom's visa came without my dad's visa. Is this possible? I believe that a couple's application for visa is considered one application and when the other is (just in case) denied, it should also come back together with the approved one. We feel that my dad's visa has already gone lost or misplaced since it didn't arrive with my mom's. What could have happened? Is it possible that it is still under process? or what? We are really clueless because the agent that received our application do not have a concrete answer for our concerns because he also encountered this case first time he said. Please help... thanks.

u mention bit confusing date tell me ur parents applied trv in june 2013 or in june 2012 and which date they applied for their trv

Do you mind telling when in June they applied? Was it regular TRV or Super Visa? Also, did the CHC ask for medical?

according to my mom's application receipt (attached to her passport when her visa arrived) their visa was applied June 11, 2013. Yes, they asked for medical exam. My parents both took the medical exam since the requests came together. So I really wonder why my dad's visa hasn't arrived together with my mom's.

that would be very risky. they don't even know how long the process will take before the visa arrives, so why book the ticket ahead?
