Yes, they can request your income proof any time during the process.

Not their fault. They have been told by our dear friend Kenny not to issue any visas to PGP cases because they are burden on Canadian health/social security systems.

Please do ask them that is it fair for democratic peaceful Canada to have sponsorship process prolonged for 5-6 years. Also, under what rights and immigration law the passports can be witheld for a longer time? If they want to keep passports for 2 weeks to issue visa it makes sense, but keeping passports for months and year is not acceptable. They expect that people will not travel or their lives should stop until the visa is issued. Is it logical?

1) most of the member have asked already regarding why holding the passport for year
2) why the ppl who apply first are still waiting and ppl who are far most behind already got visa as we can see ppl from 2007 2008 are still waiting for the visa and 2009 ppl got the visa why there is no que anymore we don't see any fast-forward in our case

3) why they are discriminating the ppl with dependent over age 22 even though they are studding fulltime they are rejecting them with one or other reason. what we have seen past is ppl without dependent got the visa far most earlier like some of the 2009 dec applicant here so what wrong we did ? if we have dependent in our file if they really didn't want them then they could just say upfront why give them false hope and make them wait this for 5 years

the questions are very practical nd logical bt i knw what will be his answer..
for the 2 and 3 ques he will say dat these are case specific que..their must be some prob. with thie cases otherwise canadian govt. will not do such discrimination and blah blah blah blah..

Completely agree with you Pari...dependents who CIC thinks not dependent any more were waiting for last 5-6 years, missed few opportunities in their life just following the cic requirement for remaining full time students and yet they are refused stating that they are not dependent....

I was surprised when MP enquiry said" back ground check is not yet started" and application is in" decision of initial selection" stage. can u pse make this point to minister as general
