I am waiting for an reply from CIC for the appointment for my moms DNA test at NewDelhi, I submitted my test in Canada on June 9, they said I will get an appointment for my mother to go to NewDelhi with in 2 months, but I didn't receive any mail from anyone. I am scared , can I contact CIC, If so what is the address , Its really frustration, anyone got this situation, please advise. Wish you GoodLuck to everyone!

So will they maintaining two LICO tables then?

Has anyone been through this just to confirm.

Starting January 2014 they will be using old LICO for all the applicants who are in the backlog and new LICO for the new applications.

Hi friends any news from ND? Our get expired in November,dnt knw wt to do ,those had medical in Oct did they got any email from ND? Somebody told me dat strike is over is dis true n if it iss dn y they r nt issuing visa....

My dear...last Gcms notes I ordered in July says assignment due date May,31...but I did not get any update yet...however, my MP office called last week and said that ND called them to inform that they are doing background check on my file....medical and eligibility passed since April....don't know what were they doing till now and I hope they have really started the background and finish it soon....I am eagerly waiting to see DM on ecas...

I thought assignment due date is when the officer is going to look at the file again I thought after sending us the letter he or she fix the date there to see what reply we are sending and based on that they will decide the eligibility of my bro. so you are saying you pass the eligibility is that mean your sister pass the eligibility too or he is not eligible ? because in our case eligibility says in progress. I hope you are not talking about the sponsorship eligibility ?

hiii,i got appointment after 6 months from delhi,,,sample was collected in canada in march and in india in september....and so many people are still waiting for sample collection,,,even their samples are also collected in march in canada....

Same question here. Also I am a little confused if I have a child after I apply, do I need to notify them? or Just wait for them to request updated information?

Yeah...in my notes it's eligibility passed and criminality not started...officer mentioned in notes that eligibility passed . Unfortunately my sis is out...they mentioned in recommendations that she did not meet the criteria to be eligible as dependent child....I am waiting for my parents to get visa n then will see if there is another way to bring her here as definitely we don't want to leave her alone there unless we find a good match for her to get married n settle there....but it's very hard...lets see what He has planned for us....

You will need to send the updated information to them with the additional documents request.

Thanks for the reply, and I am convinced little bit, I thought i am the only case having this issue, could u pls tell me more, if you can, about the DNA test, do they include the Medical examination also , my mother live in south do they give you appointment date or you choose the appointment. Do you have any idea is more cases in our forum.

Do anybody have ideas why this DNA test start, is this any pilot project or only specific cases only. Any one has idea when this strike will end, does the strike impact our case processing whole internet I surfed No news is good news.
