Do anybody have ideas why this DNA test start, is this any pilot project or only specific cases only. Any one has idea when this strike will end, does the strike impact our case processing whole internet I surfed No news is good news.

Thanks for the reply, and I am convinced little bit, I thought i am the only case having this issue, could u pls tell me more, if you can, about the DNA test, do they include the Medical examination also , my mother live in south do they give you appointment date or you choose the appointment. Do you have any idea is more cases in our forum.

only samples are taken,,,no medical examination included,,bcz our have already done in nov 2012......they told us about appointment date before 10 days of appointment by phone,,,samples are taken at a medical center in delhi,,

Good news as the members are looking to suspend their long strike and has given a reason to visa appliers to smile. But the bottom line is that govt should start bargaining with pafso in good faith and hope this strike ends

My Parents medical expires on Dec 10th. How can they keep passports for so long ,it's ridiculous. I needed my parents during pregnancy because I've no one here except my husband but they weren't able to come because there passports were with these morons(sorry for using this kind of language but I need to vent out). Now my 3 months old and still they can't come.
Three weeks ago they send a letter and asked for my brothers medical and PC. Apparently, now it's gonna delay the processing although my brother got everything done in 10 days. I'm so upset. I've to take my 3month old with me every morning and evening to drop of my little daughter to school. Weather is getting cold and I hate take the little one in and out in this weather. I've been patiently waiting since Last december but now it's high time...but what can i do...sighhh. Thanks for letting me vent out here

My medical expiring in MID-OCT .
This is what will happen:
They will toss for each application and
For HEAD, visa will be issued
For TAIL, new medical will be required
So lets hope that they don;t pick up the coin with TAIL on both sides.

my medical expired on 01 july 2013. my file was with CPPO so after completing all the formalities they send it to ND in june this year. I requested for GCMS in Aug and got reply also where they mentioned my medical= Passed - expired. I send an email to ND but there is no reply from them. Now I send enquiry through local MP. waiting what will happen but it is embarrassing.
my ecas only shows: 1. your application received on 23 april 2008. 2. your medicals have been received

What's the point to sponsor someone who has no relationship to you and waste so many years in waiting for them to complete the application? I still cannot understand the reason why they ask for the DNA proof.

I am now sending the documents, but in application they are asking which visa office I want my application ti be transferred. I am not sure if I should chose Islamabad or Ottawa? Timeline is around same. However, I am not sure in actual how long it takes for application in reality. Can someone help please???

Are your Mother and sister with you here in Canada? If yes, and they have the authorization (visa or extension of stay) in Canada valid for a year, then you can choose Ottawa as a processing center otherwise you have to choose Islamabad.

Medical expiring mid October ... No hope from these idiots....fingerprinting was done on April 1 since now RCMP have no update ....I don't know why we ppl join together against this and do something ?
