alright, one more thing,

wherever they ask in forms like, enter the address you have lived since age 18 or last 10 years, whichever is more recent.

So in that case just recent 10 years is fine. right? or better to enter more but not since age 18?

Enter since age 18 , if ur parents still remember or take some help from ur relatives. There are some instances tht they requested since 18.

but don't they mean that they required recent 10 years. I know more is better but still the requirement is recent 10 years. right?

Its upto u. Try to exceed the requirements is my best advice. As I told you LVO requested since 18 for some cases.

Hi guys,

Ok got the GCMS notes yesterday and there is some bad news for us. My father in law failed the medical exam but others in the family passed. He is the primary applicant. They have a note in there from May 2013 mentioning the reason but so far we haven't received any official letter either in India or in Canada.

Now for the reason they failed my father-in-law, he has already been treated for it in July. Anyone knows what are we supposed to do? Wait till we get a letter? Or do something proactively?

Thanks.

Wait for their letter and then you should be entitled to have the medical record and ask what ground he was disqualified then either get the good lawyer or MP assistance.

This System is screwedup. these ppl expect the old parents to be young and healthy. Its just a cause to cease old population. I work in healthcare. I directly see how much abuse is happening to helath care. People come for pregnancy tests to Emerg and its costs $700 to taxpayers. Ppl on welfare who are enjoying taxpayers money come to check Drugs of abuse. First this Government has to get rid of this expenses before they reject Old parents who are dreaming to spend their last moments with their loved ones.
Who said Canada is comitted to Family reunification??!!!!

Sorry JagguDada... all I can say is Pray and fight, You are going to loose nothing.
