Can some one advise if I should send a general enquiry or case sepcific enquiry to LVO Islamabad and will LVO Islamabad responded to these enquiries?........Principal applicant in Pakistan received a call from LVO on March 20 mentioning that medical documts will be sent next week but no letter received from LVO yet. another question - I mentioned the visa office Missisagua on the representative form while submitting the documents in Feb 2012...It looks LVO did not consider this representative form....do I need to send another representative form with LVO Islamabad mentioned on the form? Advise from friends will be highly appreciated.

Send them a case specific inquiry next week.. Enlighten them with the fact that it's been a month since their call and you guys haven't received any medical request from them ..

Your second question : You can send them the representative form again with a cover letter stating you send the form back in feb 2012 but the representative address is still the same and that you would be highly obliged if they could consider your request now.. Try this, there is no harm in it..

the po box address is fine for courier. find a blue dart office closest to you. they know what they are doing.

In the notes section, it says PA ( dad ) has 18 trips to US. although none exceed more than 6 months
Says Request FBI for PA

I haven't received any such request? I have my fathers FBI, should I just send it?

So my friend got the letter at our mailing address, he is yet to scan and send but it says

If your residence period in US has been six months or longer since age of 18 an original FBI clearance is required

Now this time, do they mean OVERALL? or 6 months on each trip as notes suggest they do know he has never lived more than six months

Do I explain in letter or simply send the certificate?

Yes, when i sent the LVO additional docs requested from LVO i sent the rep form along with cover letter stating that what hira mentioned.

It depends on file's condition for both Sponsor (i.e. me) and Applicant (i.e. my parents). I am from QC too and sharing my info to give you some idea:

"MEDICAL DONE": 15-July 2012 (But till today not update on cic.gc.ca online service)
Police Clearances Certificate send in Jun-2012
Request for CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate): 20-Oct-2012 (received this request from CPP-O)
CSQ Send: 10-Nov-2012
Till today did not get any request to submit Passport.

The good news is "In Process" is showing since 20-Mar-2013 on cic.gc.ca online service.

I noticed now there is no specific sequence to see the update to predict the final decision. If your read other members case status of this forum, you will see some ppl are getting the status update for everything (Medical done, Decision Made) at the same time. Please share your timeline if possible.
