Hi everyone, I must share my excitement with you all..... I received my COPR yesterday It only took 2 weeks after sending my passport photocopy and photos to London LVO for this to come.. Yipee I can now start planning my life in Canada with my family as my life has been on hold now for almost 5 years. It will take a lot of hard work for me as I am doing everything by myself at this end in Scotland. I plan to land in March and have my flight booked. I will stay a month and then come back and try and sell my house and that could take a while, I know, but I will keep faith that everything will work out ok.

Kandel, you are only 1 day later than me in application time so I am sure you will hear about your medical request soon. It took me 6 months after my file was transferred to London for me to get the medical request.


I wish all the other forum members the very best for the future and I will still look in to see how things are going with you all.

Congratulations and welcome to the club. I know exactly what you mean about your life being on hold. It's such a relief when you finally get that piece of paper in your hands. We are leaving at the beginning of February but will be back in May hopefully having sold our house. Did you realise that you won't get your PR card until after about 60+ days so it's a good idea to let them know when you land that you will be leaving again after a month and then you can arrange for permission to travel so when you come back in you come back as a PR and not as a visitor. We're hoping our PR cards will arrive before we come back but will notify about our return in case we need permission to travel.
Our grand daughters are already planning our arrival.

Finally a good news to share guys .. Got medical request.. The letter is dated back to 3rd January. But we just got to know about it .. We will call on Monday to get the appointment .. We just have 10 days to do everything now.

Thank you girl .. Cannot thank ALLAH enough for this! Yesterday only i was feeling soo depressed.. And 2 hours back i was sleeping and my dad suddenly came and said "Medicals aa gae" .. I was likee what? .. I suddenly jumped of my bed in excitement LOL ... No they didn't ask for any updated forms. I believe they will ask after medicals. .. I hope you get the medicals request soon in shaa ALLAH. I am now sure they are working on the dates the file was sent to islamabad when sending medical request! So it's ur turn soon.. Fasten ur seat belts aswell

I am so happy for Hira and I believe that soon I will get medicals too.Just matter of few more weeks.I will send updated police clearance this week and then after that.I am so happy and relaxed now.I can see ISB is working on all files and no more frustration.
Now as medicals are approaching my main worry and concern is that my parents pass their medicals.

Yeahh .. True .. This year i am sure and hope all the 2008 applicants and applications before that get their visas.. We have been waiting patiently for a long time ... Thanks alot kandel , yes i hope you get the request too now. Waiting to hear this amazing news from all! I hope now we clear the medicals with flying colours and CIC donot require us to undergo any additionl medicals!

Yes i applied may 2008 got additional request in nov 2011 send the documents in jan 2012, received first letter in april saying that we received your documents on jan 18,2012 and your file tranfered to New Delhi. And my parents got email from ND saying that we got for file in New Delhi

Hey i would like to ask one thing guys.. Before going to medicals is their something like we have to fast?? Like not eat anything for 8 hours or something else that would be useful to know before going for medicals? Thanks in advance..
