Hey, everyone
I posted a thread with my question, but didnt seem to get any answers, maybe someone on here can help

I know there is a pause on parental sponsorships and new rules coming into effect and long wait lines, but im just curious as too one question

Is it possible for my husband to sponsor his Mother without including her husband (his step father)
His mother is married, but its unfortunatly not a great one and was more a choice for financial stability.
Anyways so if/when we get to sponsor his Mother to come to Canada, is it possible to not include his step father even though they are married?

I don't think it's against the rules to exclude the spouse but they are bound to ask information on him. If this was a divorce case then it would be simpler, this is long ways to go as you know and who knows what new rules come up

yeah thats what i was thinking to. of course we would have to give his info and probably explain why he is not included.

I had copy of our spreadsheet from Oct 31'12 but for some reason its not coming on our spreadsheet i m trying from friday, may be i m doing something wrong....sorry guys i tried my best.
Rajaji it will be great if you show me how to save a copy of spreadsheet properly aswell...i will keep it upto date.

I got the passport request for my parents yesterday by email from ottawa.
E-case still Application Received.

Question: The letter states the visa if issued will expire on 3rd may 2013. so that means my parents must be in Canada before that day. Do you think that arriving in Canada by end of March would cause any issues? or they should come as soon as possible. I mean they want to avoid the Canadian winter (at least this time) as both got operated recently and my father is due for another eye operation this month.

Congratulation Saini and yes this time of the year it tough for parents to come to canada as winter is starting -My parents Visa expired as on 7th May 2013 (date of their medical) they will be here end of march .I dont think that will going to cause any issue .
