Does anyone know how long the MP inquiry take to process by CIC?? I am thinking to ask my Local MP to inquire in my case.....

Same day or the next day if the file is in Canada. May be max a week if the file is outside Canada.

i will have to submit again as they have asked for the forms again, and when u fill imm008 you have to validate it and generate bar code again, as they haven't specified it i will send barcoded form. it is a headache to redo forms again, don't understand why they want forms again??!!

Its always pain to do the paper work. It will be frustrating if you have to redo all the work. Not sure why CIC asked you for paperwork again. CIC should have done better a job in you case.

Hi lucky thx for your wording i got little bit experience with cic bcoz i have some awsome experience while waiting for letter and i always saw your lvo situation and your comments on trackitt forum member like the person whi has interview today its 23 in this part of world so you are waiting anxious to know about his result but from my experience from last few years the person who is in army or police whether retired or serving both case take some extra time in new delhi or islambad so that i got for you

My MP's office told me that it would take two more months to finalize the sponsorship approval. However, I am glad to inform you that the current E-cas status shows "Decision made" when I checked it few minutes back.

It is so good to hear good news from so many people. I also have good news to share that I have received request for submitting passport in India. I have following questions:

1. Photograph specifications: Can somebody send the correct link for photograph specifications. CIC, India link and VFS, India link have different specifications.

2. Can my relative submit passport of my parents to VFS? Do they need to give any authorization letter?

3. Does VFS send back passport my mail? If yes, by regular mail or registerd mail or courier. I don't want to pick up passport but want them to send to us by mail.

4. Anybody have experience in sending passport to consultate instead of VFS. Do they get passport back within 30 days?

2. If I remember correctly they at VFS said anybody can submit passport. There is a phone for VFS call center please call them Number for India 022- 67866002)

3. Yes they do send passport to major cities by Courier. If you live in a village then it will come to the nearest city they deliver to and you will get an SMS/Phone from the courier company for pickup.

4. I recommend the VFS as it is much faster.

Panjab - have your parents got the passports back after visa stamping?

Yes, my parents have gotten passports back with Visa within 3 days of submission. I wish everybody here gets the same good news soon.

Hi lucky thx for your wording again i thing i notice that many army or police service got some extra time there is a member ssandhu on trackitt his dad i think in police his visa office is new delhi it take so much extra time for him even in done medical again so hoping that in future cic has some mechanism to clear these cases fast .my mom even too has 3 year travel history so that might put our case slow after medical if they go in background check
