Our e-file still reads – application received. However, today I got an email which is advising mom to submit her passport at the Canadian embassy in our homeland.
Mom is here in visit. Also, the email indicates the following:
Please note that if you are already in Canada and have valid temporary resident status, you now have the option of obtaining your permanent resident status in Canada as opposed to leaving Canada and re-entering at a port of entry. Please contact CIC's Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 as soon as possible to arrange an appointment with the nearest Citizenship and Immigration office to your place of residence. (You cannot call this number if you are outside Canada.)

Hi Peter Rabbit, did you get any updates regarding your situation? Have you tried to call that number?

Was your mom's case processed at CPC-O or at an LVO?

Need to get police checks translated from Italian to English, does anyone know a certified translator they could recommend either on-line or local to Hamilton / Burlington ?

That's good news!
Let's hope this is a sign that Ottowa is speeding up if there is only 20 days between approval and being called for medical and with a November 2009 application. Maybe those of us from the previous year are getting closer.

We got AOR in august, but it said the documents were received on May 2012.

Still waiting for approval of sponsorship, almost 2 months after AOR have now passed. Hoping we can hear positively soon.
It sucks to be waiting in stage 1 while most others have already progressed onto stage 2 of the process.
Come on CPC-M, hurry up its been a long wait already. Still gotta deal with local office too

one more day passed....no update. 10th month going on after ppr n medical . ecas still application recieved,not even medical results recieved.

Are you going to submit the copy of the documents that you have submitted already or are you going to fill IMM 0008 again and generate barcode again??? This is really stupid of CIC for asking it again and possibly not guiding what to submit (COPY or GENERATE NEW BARCODE by filling it online again)?????

i will have to submit again as they have asked for the forms again, and when u fill imm008 you have to validate it and generate bar code again, as they haven't specified it i will send barcoded form. it is a headache to redo forms again, don't understand why they want forms again??!!

Hi lucky thx for your wording i got little bit experience with cic bcoz i have some awsome experience while waiting for letter and i always saw your lvo situation and your comments on trackitt forum member like the person whi has interview today its 23 in this part of world so you are waiting anxious to know about his result but from my experience from last few years the person who is in army or police whether retired or serving both case take some extra time in new delhi or islambad so that i got for you

if you check spreadsheet there are many members like you such as user828,smodhera,ranja,sakamath and more.
But maybe soon you will receive request.

Yes Kandel I hope so.......I wish we all get finalized our case very soon and have our parents and siblings here.It is hard to wait and wake up every morning with the hope to get some good news and keep checking e-cas status.Lets pray to God to bless everybody!!!!!!!!
