Oops! Sorry for not providing all the info.
Yes, it was done on August 13 or 14th (can't remember..) and the doctor's sent the result on the 17th.
Does it mean that my parents passed the medical?

it sounds pretty fast - do you know your parents health condition? if they are healthy, it means that the process has become really fast. fingers crossed. :)

A question for all those whose files were transferred to CPP-O.
I received an email requesting medicals and PCC.
I had already sent PCC with additional documents in May 2012
Although the email says that no further action is required if PCC has been sent. I just wanted to make sure, how would I know that immigration has actually accepted it. I did send Ottawa pilot office an e
an email to confirm, but other than that if any one has any suggestions

Thanks and best of luck to all

If you have already sent PCC you do not need to send it again.

If one of the parents fail the medical test, will they give VISA to the other parent or deny VISA for both...

if principal applicant fails medical the application might be rejected..
it is possible to change the principal applicant

In my case i am not worried about the principal applicant but a depandant on the application that i feel will not pass the test. Will they reject the principal applicant's visa also?

My mom apparently had a history of TB. None of us knew about it until 2 wks ago. The doctor said it came and gone and it's inactive now.
I believe my mom provided her x-ray that was taken 3 years ago, that shows clear and the doctor made a note on it.
My dad is healthy with minor diabetes that are well under control.
We are all immunized from TB (at school, everyone has to go through) as well, but I heard some can develop TB in later years.

My in-law also had a history of TB which he never knew about and had no problem with his medical when he immigrated in 2000.
Fingers crossed!!!!

Oh, BTW, if anyone is curious, I sent my medical to the local medical office not to Ottawa(as shown in the email), which is Manilla for us.

Hello my fellow memebres,

i have question regarding th PCC :) so if you leave for 1 and half year in other contry as student visa and then you return back to your country. do you need the PCC for recent year from that country or you could provide the old PCC.
so i left the contry in 2009 and took the PCC with me and said everything is ok and after that i never been to that country so the pcc which i have for 2009 could be ok as its not going to change anything from the record, so CIC tacke them as valid doc or they need the recent months PCC.

Sonu,

With dependents on file, it does take longer for them to send requests for PCC, medical and passport. Both of our time lines are similar with the exception of dependents. Your file has dependents and mine does not. That is why its taking longer in ur case.

Do u hav an idea hw long it can take?...pls update

Does Singapore handle other countries too, frankly I don't see many Singaporeans in Canada, compared to other countries OR are they short staffed
