Thanks a lot, dags! I can imagine having your passports with visas, that's GREAT! So your visas arrived 4 days after they stamped it. Is it through DHL or Air 21? We have similar LVO that's why I am very curious. I know you guys are very busy now so I am not asking for quick response. Congratulations to you, to your parents, and ULTIMATELY ... to your sister!
It was DHL! We're not very busy actually but still excited! We're gonna take our time before we leave to canada and arrange whatever is needed for us to be able to comfortably leave.
Our Ecas never updated and still In process until now.

My parent's PR application ECAS status says "Application received" when I click on this it says "We received your application for permanent residence on June 13, 2011. Medical results have been received. "

Can u please tell what does it mean, decision made or still processing.

i dont think they are going to complete the quata for 2012 (36500) because there is still no improvement and 8th month has been started and only 4 months left and they will not do anything in this four months and backlog remain the same after 2years pause

Well something is up now. I really wish you are wrong, but don't take this personal, OK? All of us here wants that PR visa!

Timeline:
-My sister applied us in October 2007
- We got our confirmationg receipt of immigration application package date September 12, 2009 but we got it in October 13 because there was a big typhoon(Ondoy) and when it arrived the envelope had stains on it and we were nervous that the documents inside must've been ruined. (but it wasn't ;D)
- Passport Request and Medical Request in December 23, 2012
-We sent our Passport on first week of january and the medicals were finished in 2nd week of february
-And we got our visa stamped at 08-01-12
- We got the passports back at August 4, 2012

I hope everyone will get their visa's too!

Congrats!..atleast there is some movement..we also sent docs+passports+medicals in second week of january..lets see

so I'm in Canada and my parents are in India... looks like need to follow the second link...and according to that "medical results received" falls under decision made... Am I correct?

their medical were done on January 3rd 2012 and passports were sent on January 15th 2012. Landing fee was paid on March 20th 2012. I hope we get the visa before the medical expire.

Thank u Moraine for ur help.

Under processing times on CIC website there is information regarding processing time for Spouses (applications processed within Canada and sponsored person living in Canada) and it is 8 months for Step 2 (after sponsorship approval). In my opinion Step 2 processing times for approval of parents and grandparents applications will also be same.

Since many applicants submitted additional documents around mid December, it is likely that by the end of next month (July 2012) or in early August 2012, Step 2 approvals will end the wait for early Birds...:)

Step 2 e-Cas Status showing 'Decision Made' on applications by Mockava and Northclare indicates that it is happening as expected...Good luck again to everyone.

Oh I am not sure, tanujgwl! :-\ Notice members' ecas some "decision made" but no visa nor passport request yet...one member just got visa from LVO, but his/her ecas says "In process" but all of us here has/had to wait that's for sure :) so good luck!

Northclare and Mockava Congrats friends
Dags thanks for sharing your timeline
:)

Is it possible something is wrong with E-CAS system regarding the the status of "Decision Made"? I do know at least more than 10 people has changed to "decision Made" suddenly on Saturday. But I could be wrong since most of them are in the first batch of receiving their medical requests in Feb 2012 from CPP-Ottawa.

I dont believe so. So far most of the steps were done in some kind of batches.... I guess we have to wait and see.
