Hi there,

My parents' application has been in process since 2004. It was rejected and we went through the appeal and got it being processed again. The medicals have been done the second time. Last Monday, on August 1, 2012 I checked our application status and it showed as "Decision Made". We were so excited as we have been waiting for this for over 8 years now.

But today I checked the status again and it showed "application received". Could anybody suggest what does it mean. I have also emailed the Delhi Office but you know they take more than a month to respond. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Second part of my process was, let`s say, fast. The first part was looooong, 4 years of waiting.
And after 50 months I get my visa.
No dependents, only me.
My visa office is Vienna.

You know what I fear now that may be they changed our status by mistake. They were supposed to change someone else's and changed ours. I don't know but it is so frustrating. Thanks for your reply though. Best of luck.

Let's hope they removed it by mistake! I wish that is what happened and you will get letter with approval soon. Hoping the same for all of us!

their medical were done on January 3rd 2012 and passports were sent on January 15th 2012. Landing fee was paid on March 20th 2012. I hope we get the visa before the medical expire.

Oh i missed this part...you are welcome! I just noticed that you and dags (who just got his/her visa on August 4) have a somewhat similar timeline, since you got passport request already and you haven't heard anything since then i bet that is a good news the passports and visas are on the way good luck!

Our family class application recevied by new delhi 0n 5th April 2012.......but we still not get any information from CIC...its gone 4 mnths to application recevied by new delhi CIC...Does any body know how much we wait for any response ??..My E cas status still shows as "Application Recevied" from last 4 mnths...

Not to invalidate your thought here, but based on one member's timeline and e-cas status, I am not relying on that e-cas TOTALLY. I wish those who got "Decision Made" status will get the PR Visa...good luck to you guys! Some of us here completed our medical and passport last month and others got it early this year and if they will received the PR by September that means we (who completed medical and passport June and July and August) have a great chance of getting the PR before Christmas and New Year! Oh God hear us out!

Is it possible something is wrong with E-CAS system regarding the the status of "Decision Made"? I do know at least more than 10 people has changed to "decision Made" suddenly on Saturday. But I could be wrong since most of them are in the first batch of receiving their medical requests in Feb 2012 from CPP-Ottawa.
