It's been more than 2.5 months (11 weeks) since we received the approval letters on May 7th, 2012. Why does it take so long for medical request? My file was sent to LVO Singapore. I read some the posts, all claimed it's about 2 months to receive the medical request. The LVO Singapore is so slow. I'm 25 now and a dependant and studying in a second college, gonna graduate in August. And now, enrolling in a third college. I have to keep the continuous studying process because i'm older than 22. This is a tragedy for me. This really affects my life. Imagine you have to study in the third time in college!!! I can wait. But not this LONG. It's been 4 years now, a few years more would kill me.

Would you please share your time, so that somebody can add you on the doc.? Same thing here I lost my father during processing period and My sister holding off her marriage. I understand your pain.
Singapore sucks !! Brother, we are in big waiting game !! We don't know how long CHC Singpore will take to clear backlog. Current backlog around 2000 and 2012 quota is 1000. In 2012 first quarter process only 180. Have you recieve Any AOR ? I believe people approved in March 2012 still waiting for AOR.Good luck.

Hi Guys,

My application for to sponsor my mother is approved.
File transfered to LVO
LVO asked for updated forms and documents, pcc etc. I sent them already.

I want to know how to check eCas. Because i can check for sponsorship application. but for my mother's PR application. i am trying using file number from letter of LVO sent for forms and documents, PCC etc. But it does not show anything at all.

I am using File number, my mother's last name, my mother's DOB and birth country.

Would you share your timeline, when you applied, when approved, which LVO etc.. . If you select "Immigration File number/Application number" make sure go the right one. I found my one is F0000XXXXX format. it works for me.

Would you please share your time
Application submission: July 2008
Doc's Request: 25-11-2011
Submitted additional documents: March 16, 2012 ( submit second time for correction)
Decision made (e-cas) : May 7th, 2012
Receive approval mail (met requirements for eligibility as a sponsor): May 10
File was transferred to LVO Singapore.
What is AOR? You still receive AOR after receiving the approval mail?
And now waiting for medical request...

Sorry to be so ignorant, but I dont understand this.... If you dont want to study, why you keep enroling? Why dont you do independant immigration to Canada or start working in your own country insted of trying to play the system. Don't blame Canada even before you come to Canada.

Your case file is moving. It has already come so far. There are no set guidelines as to how long it takes for Medical and PCC request. Refer to processing times for your LVO. Hopefully with the emphasis on reducing the backlog, it will be quicker.

cslave, what you mean by "You will receive from Singapore with additional doc request and new file Number". I already received the document request, and my sister met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor ( as stated in the approval letter), and in the letter, it shows the both UCI and Application number.

You will recieve another letter from Singapore which is considered to be AOR. What you have finish is part one of sponsorship. part two is from LVO

So, cslave , do you know how long will it take to receive AOR? It's been more than 2 and a half month now.

Yes I included a family tree also. Where we wrote information regarding uncles and ants etc.
Actually in the letter LVO asked for family tree form which was supposed to be attached with this letter. But I did not get anything with that letter. So I googled a lot and found something similar. And filled it.

I don't know how to attach document with this post otherwise I would have attached it here. Try google GEN_Family_Tree_EN.PDF
