This is not entirely correct. Our March 30th request for additional documents clearly gave two options: either for PCC to be included (affidavits are to be attached for those issued in other languages) with all documents submitted as one package or for them to be sent later when asked again. In fact, CPC-M clearly stated not to send PCC separately from the package. Moreover, they no longer accept PCCs from local police offices and provide the list of organizations in each country they trust to issue PCCs.
What is it for India, we got it done here in Vancouver from Indian Consulate ( with a letter and stamp on passport )

PCC issued by Indian Consulate is considered valid - it is issued by Minstry of External Affairs.

not sure what it means...

you can try to go to the doctor and ask if he can call/e-mail CIC medical office and ask for more info... not sure if he can do it... and if he agrees of doing it...

you can try to call CIC, or send an e-mail/fax to CPP-O asking for additional info...

you can order a copy of the medical file (GCMS note) and see all the details... but i believe that ordering physical file can cause a delay... so not sure if that's the right thing to do...
Thanks again. I already order GCMS's medical file after one week I ordered e- files, don't know when it will come to me. I will try all the ways you suggested . Thank you.

Sakamath is correct. PCCs issued by contacting a consulate/ embassy are valid and they are also listed on CIC website. We contacted an embassy as well for one of my mom's PCC as my mom before turning age 20 lived in a different country.

I have a question guys, is this thread talking about PRs for parents? I understand that Parents/Grandparents PR is on hold.
Or is this about supervisa for parents?
PS - Please ignore my ignorance on the subject. I read the first page but still was not sure about what this page is about.

Its called AOR, many have received that, basically its conf that your file is received by them. Now wait for meds, pcc and/or passport request
How long the wait time is? Is the wait time for passport or medical is different for the parents with dependents?

Today my mother's e CAS status includes "medical received"
Thats great! So the status shows when you log in with client ID of your mother and all her other details? Does it also show when you login as your own client ID received with sponsorship letter?

Thanks

what document can we attach to prove that dependent child is financially sported by parents.like when i sponsor my parents with a dependent in 2008 from Pakistan, dependent was 19 now she is 23.she finished her masters 5 months ago and right now she is not in school but looking to do further studies.what proof can i give about financial support as in Pakistan fees is paid cash. any Pakistani who already done it please help.and what type of documents we need to support her education except degrees, character certificate, marks sheet. any thing else. one more thing what documents we need to prove her relationship to parents. birth certificate, Form B, degree, anything else. please help me. Thanks
I have done that. There is no way to proof that parents supported child financially. So what I asked my dad to get the affidavit/oath stated that he as father supported his children financially for their education/food/transportation/lodgiing and they are full-time student dependent on parents and he paid for all the said expenses in cash as it is normal practice in Pakistan. I also explained that in a separate cover letter.
Education documents you need: All marksheet/certificates/degrees, school leaving/character certificates if they haven't complete any courses, submit admit/registration cards and letter from the school stating that he/she is bonafide student.

Proof relationship: NIC card/ birth certificates stating father/mother name

You don't need to prove anything if your sibling was under 22 at the time you sent your sponsorship application to CPP-M. Even if she is 23 years old now, she is still considered a dependent for the sponsorship purposes regardless of whether she is financially dependent on your parents or not. The only exception to this is if she gets married.

sorry sir, your are little bit wrong, she must be regular full time student when she attains the age 22, and not married or in common law relationship. these term and conditions exist until visa issed. otherwise she will be excluded from application.

Dear Cayat
the first important thing is to finish the five month period gap in her study, bcoz it is after attaining the of 22, if you not leave it she will be be excluded from application.
you may also include receipt for payment of dues in cash.
in the institution letter must stat number of hours of study in a week in government recognized institute.
and include an affidavit that she is not doing any job, and not married or in common law relationship.
other things same as other member said before.

If dependent was under 22 no need for continuous studies just they shouldn't marry.
@ cayat
Starzibal gave to excellent info.
I am gone through the same process ,at the time of document update there was a 4 months gap in studies.I mentioned that and nobody asked any thing.
There was a member here whose dependent was under 18 when applied. His documents came and asked for educational documents of dependent. He just sent the documents back with explanation that dependent was under 22 years of age at the time of application sent.So he got approved without any problem.
Even CHC slamabad mentioned in doc update checklist ,send the proof of continuous studies if dependent was over the age of 22 at the time of application filed. And they asked for proof if dependent is still unmarried for dependents who were under 22 at the time of application filed.
I have read this discussion like thousand times here. There is no need of continuous studies for dependent who was under 22.
But there is no harm if dependent keep enrolled in some kindof education .

ghumma 's point of mentioning 40 hours per week is also excellent.Affidavit for not married or doingjob is also great idea though I didn't do it.
