Hi Everyone ---> Need your help

My parents got a letter from LVO and it states "Acknowledgement of Application of Receipt"

The letter is requesting information in point form a, b, c ... such as Imm0008 ,PCC and so on --- nothing is checked, ticked, marked or highlighted -- all it says is to submit what you havent submitted before ----

The only information that we havent submitted is the PCC which we are working on ---- The question I have is that my paretns have lived in Saudi Arabia for 3 years and the information I am getting from online sources is that they only issue PCC if you are currently living in Saudi Arabia or are a Citizen ---- Has anyone been through this situation or have any info as what to do ??

Thanks in Advance
J

what it means by "final decision"? does it means the files which are at last stage?

Final Decision:
Terminal decision point in a permanent resident application, signifying either that a case has met all statutory and regulatory requirements and shall be issued a visa or that it has not met these requirements and has been closed.

How long after your DMP sent the test result, did you see status change in ecas to "medical received"?
i think it's about a month... sometimes less than a month, sometimes longer... not sure if it's the same for initial medicals and for additional tests...

It normally takes 1 - 2 months to see this update. It took me more than 1.5 months.

tyk2001, for some reason i can not answer your personal message... not sure why - i get an error message every time i try to send it... i can answer if you send me your e-mail address...
Hi Shuga,
Hope thing speed up for you from here. I have a question for you. When your Mom had here first medical test did the status ever change to medical received in ecas. I am just wondering if ecas status of "Medical Received" means received and passed?

Thanks

In my case I see it after 5 weeks. Medical results were sent to Ottawa.

Whats the current status for getting your parent permanent residency? i read that they put a pause to it and instead have the super visa?
so does that mean i can't apply for my Mother as of now?

Yes, it means that for up to 2 years no one can start a new application for parents sponsorship. After that they are supposed to open it again with new criteria.
Meanwhile if you would like to have your parents close to you, you can bring them here by supervisa.

Thanks everyone for responding to my question. So I will stop checking ecas everyday. It is frustrating to check and see no changes. I think it should be safe to check once a week. Normally I don't check ecas frequently unless I am expecting a change, to avoid frustration :)

@Shuga, I hope that we can see the update sooner than 1-2 months because these were the extra tests. Let us know if your status changed to received.

"Medical Received" means that everything is ok for the medical. The line does not appear until medical is clear

For me it was less than a month. Meds send to Ottawa in March.

Anyone knows how to change parents' mailing address (files in Ottawa)? I sent an e-mail to CPP-O two months ago, but E-Cas is still showing my parents old address.
