This question is for people who got medical request from LVO New Delhi. If anyone else can answer it as well feel free to do so.

How did the LVO New Delhi send the request for medical, email or through regular mail???

Thanks.

mine was sent to my immigration lawyer through regular mail..i think there is an option when you fill out application about how would you like to communicate(regular mail/electronic)
the do send through email in lots of cases so don't forget to check regularly!

Hi all:

I know it has been pretty slow in CPC-O, but I wonder whether any of you has an idea how long it will take to get the medical request.
It seems like it takes about 2 months now and for me, the decision was made on June 4th, so it has been almost 1 month and a week.

Thank you for your help.

My mom is here in Canada for a visit. Medical request was sent to my mom's home country. Is it possible to have medical exam here in Canada? According to the letter, medical exam should be done within 45 days from date of letter. The letter was dated June 21st but was received on July 9th. Should I count Saturdays and Sundays in calculating 45 days? We are planning to have the medical request letter to be sent here in Canada from my home country but would take time. Is it possible to get scanned copy of the medical request letter so we can present it to the doctor? Any idea how much is medical exam fee here in Canada? We are located in Toronto. Please help....

We just booked medicals in Vancouver @ $220 each . It may be different in Toronto. We also got a quote of $245 each.
It's worth checking the charges beforehand by calling the doctors on the list. They can give you a breakdown of costs. we were warned that some doctors add extra charges . The tests are blood ,urine and Xray and we will pay $120 Dr's fee $60 blood and urine $40 chest xray.

Hello all, i am new in this forum also in the process of sponsoring my parents. My mom just went for a medicals here in Ottawa. My father will come here end of July
then he will go to get his medical done in the same Dr's office as it was imdicated in the letter that both parents go to the same dr's office.

I really hope to get the appication finalized as I am sure we all wish to be.

Let's keep our hope that the immigration offices would move forward.

Thanks.

Only 4000 visa have been issue in 2012Q1 which is same as last year quarters. Visa Issue rate has not been increase yet.May be that's why we have not see any movement from LVO.

IMO this data set record indicates the number of persons who became permanent residents (i.e. landed) during each quarter. It is different from number of visa issued

my mom finished aditional tests last week... don't have a tracking number yet so not sure if it's already delivered to London or not...
Good luck Shuga. Unfortunate to go over additional medical tests. It only slows down process. I hope your case will now picked up and processed faster on priority basis.

tyk2001, for some reason i can not answer your personal message... not sure why - i get an error message every time i try to send it... i can answer if you send me your e-mail address...

A question to those whose ecas shows "medical received"
How long after your DMP sent the test result, did you see status change in ecas to "medical received"?

Thanks

what it means by "final decision"? does it means the files which are at last stage?
