Hi Amardeep

I called CIC two weeks ago and they said they have sent request for additional documents for the application received no later than Nov 17, 2009 and the next batch will be in about three months.

Hi SusanG ,

you said next batch will be in about three months. does it mean the applications were submitted after Nov17, 2009. If it is the case, did CIC say time frame (Nov 17, 2009 to Month of 2010 or 2011)?

Thanks

i think if your file is transfered in CPP-O and you are waiting for medicals that the only time you will receive it by email.. thats the pattern so far..

My folks applied for regular visit visa, and they have asked us to do medicals

1) How long does it take after medicals? I was told by travel agent that once they do meds, he will re-submit the passport to VFS and it usually a week? is that common or does it take more time

2) Considering they only asked for meds and their health is in good shape, are they certain to get visa..my point is did they ask for meds only after being satisfied with other docs ( my invite letter etc )

=============

My folks have 3 visitor visa from the past and have lived with 2-3 extendsions

FYI - The sheet which has asked my folks to do Meds for Visitor visa, also has it for Perm Resident Apps

It says, all dependents also need to get meds ( whether accompanying or not )

my mom was in the same situation lately. I personally think that, once they asked for medicals, the decision is generally positive.
Did your parents say they will stay in Canada for 6 months? My mom did and i think that's why they asked for medicals.

In our case, visa was issued in 10 days after London received her medical exams. Even though in their standard letter, the Embassy says it takes up to 90 days. I guess they review visitors' cases faster.

Hi guys few questions, plz help.

1 . Schedule A - IMM 5669 - do i have to fill this form for person not accompanying with parents (he is married)?
2. My mom visited here(canada), stayed less than 6 months- do i have to mentioned this in question 12 in IMM 0008? because it says more than six month and she left 1 week before 6 month.
3.As my mom is currently in Pakistan so I put "Pakistan" in question 10 and then question 11 is greyed out i thought i have put down when she was here last time visiting me?
4. My grandparents don't have month and date but only year so what should i put in month and date field? in order to validate i have to put something. Can i put 01-01 and explain in letter?
5. In IMM5669 - Question 8 and Question 12 in "TO" date field i cannot put "Present" what do i do? e.g. living at ABC address From 2000-01 to Present????
Please advise

Thanks
